Weiss walks down the corridor of the Schnee manor alone only for a young boy to cross her path.
???: good afternoon sister, a pleasure to see you out of your room for a change.
Weiss: hello Whitley, you're in a cheery mood today.
Whitley: Klein made crapes for breakfast.
Weiss: what do you want?
Whitley: I heard farther shouting with someone in his study earlier.
Weiss: mother?
Whitley: no... she's already drinking in the garden. I think it was a man. I just wanted to warn you, I heard that he wanted to speak with you.
Weiss gets a little worried but doesn't show it.
Weiss: I'll be fine.
Whitley: I know you will.
Weiss is caught off guard by her brother's kindness.
Whitley: you're strong, like Winter.
Weiss: you never liked Winter.
Whitley: true, but you can't deny her resolve.
Weiss: you, seem different.
Whitley: and you've been gone, I'll have you know I didn't stop growing while you were away at beacon.
Whitley turns around and starts to walk away.
Whitley: anyway, good luck with farther.
Weiss stares at her brother as he walks away.
Weiss: thank you.
(Change location)
The members of RNJR sleep quietly, Ruby on the other had suddenly wakes up as she thinks she wakes up from a bad dream. Time goes by as RNJR are back on the move as they head towards the next village. Ruby reads the map as the others follow her.
Ruby: so, the next town is, ah... ah ha... ahh, we're lost.
Jaune: we're not lost, the next town is Shion, my family used to visit it all the time.
Ruby: oh yeah, don't you have like four sisters?
Jaune: eh, seven.
Nora: you know that actually explains a lot.
Jaune: wait what do you mean?
Ruby: so, what did you guys do there?
Jaune: oh, all sorts of stuff.
Jaune walks to Ruby and looks at them map with her.
Jaune: over here is a great hiking trail, and over here is where we went camping all the time, I got my own tent because I was special... also so that so my sisters would stop braiding my hair.
Ruby: didn't like the look?
Jaune: yeah, they kept doing pig tails but personally I'm more of a warrior's wolf tail kind of guy.
Ruby: that's just a ponytail.
Jaune: ... I stand by what I said.
Nora: uh, guys
Jaune: what?
Ruby: huh?
Ruby and Jaune look up from the map to see the village was completely destroyed. They all give each other a look as the run into the village.
Nora: there might be survivors.
Ren: over here.
Ren rushes to a man that is wounded badly as the others look at each other before running up to catch up with Ren.
