Aisha's POV
After two hours of aimlessly wondering the mall, I finally found the perfect outfit for tonight. I found a white miniskirt that wasn't too short but it wasn't conservative either. With that, I was going to wear a black shirt that came to my waist and showed off a little skin. The shirt sleeves were a little poofy but it came back to a clasp at the wrist. I bought a pair of slightly shimmering gladiator sandals that were peep-toed with a slight heel and that went up to just a little under my knee. I paired my outfit off with a silver watch and a big white bracelet. I curled my hair into big waves that I put over my shoulder. I wore a pair of big white hoop earrings. As for my makeup, I did a natural look but instead with shimmery white eyeshadow and red lipstick. I stand in front of my mirror and mentally appreciate Myra's shopping skills. "Myra's here!", my mom calls out from the hallway. "Give me a sec", I holler. I try to locate my phone and my purse and pack those up. I send out a quick text to Sahil, letting him know where we're meeting. I head out of my room and say bye to my parents before briskly walking to Myra's car. "Ready?", Myra inquires. "As ever", I reply.
...............
Twenty-five minutes later, I got out of the car to face the insanely large warehouse looking building. Myra walked around to my side of the car and we made our way to the bouncer. Bob the bouncer was a burly and mean-looking bouncer. He was actually real nice underneath his tough exterior. "Hello Myra dear! Where have you been?", he joyfully exclaimed. "College", Myra responded with an exasperated sigh. "Ah yes", Bob said understandingly. "Who's this lovely lady?", he asked, finally noticing me. "This is my best friend Aisha and Aisha, this is Bob", Myra introduced us. "Nice to meet you", Bob says. "Likewise", I mention. "Come on in girls! The party's about to start!", Bob invites while opening the vault looking door and ushering us inside. The interior took my breath away and I had to take another look to ensure reality. Let me tell you that Cloud9 was not like your normal club. Sure it was filled with gross sweaty bodies gyrating their hips on the dance floor, and immature boys taking shots by the bar. But, it was everything else about it that was amazing. The fact of it was that the sky-high ceiling had netted cages dropping down from it and there were people dancing in them! The floor was not your normal everyday floor. Instead, it was a transparent floor that allowed you to see into the deep recesses of the warehouse which consisted of a nicely done water show that you could look down to see every now and then. The walls were done in an electric blue ombré manner with the light at the floor and lime green bolts appearing here and there. The bar area was a seemingly floating round table with a drink fountain right smack in the center. The dance floor was the most magnificent of it all. There was a sort of mist that was contained only to that area. The more amazing part about it was that it was either lit so as to emphasize the people there or it kept displaying different scenes from the skies. Once it was torrential rains, and another time it was a deep lightning, and another time, an abnormally bright tornado. So you see why I was enamored with the club. Myra pulled me to a table by the bar which resulted in pulling me out of my trance as well. "Hey guys", I greeted them. There was a choruses of 'Heys' that were returned. "I'm going to go grab a drink, 'kay?", I asked. "Yeah sure", came a few replies. I made my way to the bar while trying very hard not to trip and to bump into any of the people drunkenly dancing. "Hi! A beer, please?", I requested. The boy at the bar mixed slipped something into my beer before handing it to me. It didn't strike me at that time to ask him what it was that he put into my drink. I started making my way back to our table when I suddenly noticed the crowd almost parting. For me? Surely not. I was about to around to see who else was behind me, when a loud whistling broke through the silence. As I made my 360 degree turn, I bumped into somebody's hard chest. "Wow", came an appreciative murmur. I looked up and of course it had to be him..............
