Sahil POV
"When you said you're meeting later, I didn't expect it to be at a club. Much less this one.", I smirk down at the girl staring up at me. Aisha lowers her eyes but I don't miss the red starting at her cheeks. "Um... Well you know..., it's uh.. the weekend..... and you know.... we wanted to um... celebrate", she flustered. "Celebrate in that outfit, my dear? Really?", I ask incredulously. "What do you mean celebrate though?", I inquire further. "It's um Lisa's birthday, and so we wanted to just, like I said, celebrate", she informs me. "Lead the way, then", I say and point behind her. "Uh yeah", she says and turns around. She walks a few feet further and comes to a halt at a table on the edge of the dance floor. "Which one of you beautiful girls is Lisa?", I asked while facing the table. The leggy blonde's hand shot up. "I am", she called out. "Would you like to dance? Since its your birthday?", I asked her while holding out my hand. "Sure", she mumbled out. Wow! This girl must be really really drunk. Aisha was looking at her friend in concern and utter disdain. I must really disgust her if me asking her friend to dance is bringing that expression to her face. I must work on changing that. In the meantime though, I lead out a drunken Lisa who keeps trying to grope me. Thankfully, the music changes to faster tempo. At least this way, I have an excuse to get away from this girl in a shorter time. As we're dancing, I dare to look over Lisa's shoulder and look at the girl who really captured my attention tonight. She's standing at the edge of the floor looking the tiniest bit envious. There. That's the perfect moment for me to sweep in. I shake Lisa's shoulders pretty hard and tell her I'm leaving. She just makes some kind of an odd hand gesture at me. I maneuver myself away from all the sweaty bodies and walk to the bar. After grabbing a drink, I walk over to Aisha and call out her name from behind her. She jumps about a foot in the air while turning around. When she sees me, she places a hand over her heart as if to calm it. "Jeez Sahil", she gasps out at me. I smirk at this and her face immediately turns sour. "Sorry. Didn't mean to scare you", I tell her even though I totally did. "What do you want?", she asks me. "A dance", I reply. "Ha! You wish", she chokes out over laughter. "It's not like you're doing anything that's occupying you currently", I state out the obvious. "Fine", she mumbles. I hold out my hand to her and she places hers in it. She has really tiny hands. That's a strange thing to observe but it's hard not to notice when it's as if her hand fits perfectly in mine. Just as we move out to the dance floor, the song changes to a slow one. While she groans, I laugh. While she complains, I thank the stars above. I carefully place my hands on her waist and compared to her, my hands are so large that they almost engulf her all the way around. I pull her closer to me and that causes her to let out a gasp. After a minute of her staying rigid, she eventually tires and gives in and rests her head on my chest. I wrap my arms around her and rest my chin atop her head. Her hair smells good. I close my eyes and we sway to the music for a few minutes before it changes too soon. "Would you like to get out of here?", I ask her. "Yes please. All this sweat and perfume is making me nauseated", she laughs. She untangles herself from me to go and say goodbye to her friends. I walk a few paces behind her. She turns around and slips her hand in mine and tugs me out to the exit. I push the door open and we tumble out of the club and into the fresh night air. "Where do you want to go?", I ask her. "The beach", she answers. "To the beach it is", I chuckle. I start towards my car and she mumbles something that distinctly sounds like nice car. I thank her and hold open the passenger side door for her. Once she's in, I close the door and head around to my side of the car. I get in and start up the car and hear the engine rumble to life. Then, I carefully steer the car to the intersection and head to the beach..............
