Three Chinese men had come to America and spoke no English, so they went around repeating what they heard.
The first Chinese man heard a man that had just won a race and he was saying "We did it, we did it."
The second Chinese man went into a restaurant and heard a boy chanting "Forks and knives, forks and knives."
The third man went into a pet store and heard a girl saying "Goody goody gumdrops, goody goody gumdrops."
They came along a murder scene where a police officer asked them questions. "Do you know who did this?" The first Chinese man says, "We did it, we did it." Flustered the cop says How did you kill him?" The second Chinese says, "Forks and knives, forks and knives." "You are all under arrest, anything you say here will be held against you in court." The third Chinese man says, " Goody goody gumdrops, Goody goody gumdrops."
