"Okay, c'mon!" 'Eyeless Jack' whispered to me.
I rolled my eyes timidly but followed. He led us to a dead end and I looked at him like 'really?'
He gave a slight laugh. "Okay. Now, what I want you to do is think about a place where you feel happy, safe. Okay?"
I nodded and thought for a minute. "The park," I told him.
"Okay," he said, and motioned for me to get onto his back.
I raised an eyebrow at him. "What is this? Give a thirteen year piggie-back ride day?" I asked sarcasticly.
"Do you want to get out of here or not?"
"Fine," I said, still not feeling comfortable about this. I got on, shifting my weight so I wouldn't fall.
Instantly, he took off at the speed of lightning. Before I could say 'fast', we whipped out of the school and to the park. I could barely see anything, and I was shocked out of my mind. Any breath I took was sucked back in unintentionally. "What was that?" I asked.
"That was running." He slowed down to a stop, in front of the park. Putting me down. Then he sighed, realizing that we were just across the street from the school. "We need to go somewhere farther away."
"Like where?"
"A buddy of mine has a place not too far from here, but far enough away from the school."
"And I should trust you and your 'buddies?'" I accused.
"Seems as if you already do."
"Whatever," I climbed again, and we went flying.
When we stopped, we were at a old run down house in a small neighborhood.
He opened the door without knocking, and I heard a voice say in a pissed off way, "Oh no, what the hell are you doing here?"
Jack soon replied, "I brought a friend."
The anomynis voice then said, "that's never a good thing..."
I walked in and was stunned. Jack decided to bring me to the house of Jeff the Killer. What the hell is he trying to do? Get me killed. I felt frustration beat around in my stomach.
"She's a sister to Sal."
"Wait. What? Sally has a sister? When'd this happen?" Jeff the Killer asked sitting up.
"Hi," I whispered with a bit of fear in my voice.
"Hi," he said without looking in my direction. "Jack? How long does she have to stay?"
"Oh quit your whinning. She'll leave soon enough."
I walked around the room, sitting on the opposite side of the couch from Jeff. He handed me the remote to pick a channel. I hesitently took the remote and changed the channel randomly to the news. I was shocked to see my teacher being interviewed. "She just threw her pencil at me, I had no defense. I was absolutely terrified..."
My eyes widened as my hands clinched into fists.
"Eh, you made the news," said an unfamiliar voice that seemed to come from within the tv. Then out came a boy who looked oddly like Link from Legend of Zelda. "I'm Ben. Your sister's a friend of mine."
But I didn't say anything, mostly because of the fact that a boy just appeared out of a tv, and nobody acted as if it were a big deal.
"What did you do anyway?" he asked me.
But before I could answer, Jack did. "She threw a measly pencil at her teacher."
"Really? And that hit the news?" the boy who called himself Ben asked me and laughed.
I nodded. Then we watched as the tv went to an interview with my mom. It said that I had left school and that I couldn't be found. I rolled my eyes. "I probably should go."
"See ya," everyone said and waved as I walked out the door and in the direction of my apartment.
"Well she'll be a handful," was the last thing I heard Jeff say to Jack as their voice faded when I walked to my apartment.
