The three got back to the Sturniolo house not too long after. Matt and Chris had gone to do their own thing while Alora was sat on the couch scrolling through her social media trying her best to reply to the support of her fans. Her dm's were filled with love. Her tiktok fyp was overflowing with people showing their reactions to Would've, Could've, Should've, and already singing along. It was overwhelming in the most uplifting way possible. Within the last 9 hours that the songs been out her followers had shot up like a rocket. A few messages that she had received made her tear up, but when she noticed that Millie had dm'ed her she ended up in tears.
Millie had fully explained what she had gone through during her time of being a teenager and it absolutely shattered Alora's heart knowing that someone so young had suffered through so much. Alora sat on that couch with tears that wouldn't stop falling. She couldn't even fully see her keyboard as she tried to type a message back to the girl.
When she heard the front door open she took it upon herself to go to Chris's room so she could pull herself together. As she opened the door to his bedroom she found Chris sitting at his desk playing something on his computer. She had assumed she went unnoticed so she walked back out, but before she could close the door Chris spoke up, "Alora?"
"Yeah sorry didn't realize you were in here," She replied opening the door back up.
"Woah woah what's wrong?" He asked as he noticed the way her head was hung low.
"Nothing, I'm good don't worry," She said trying her best from keeping her voice from cracking. Chris didn't reply as he got up from his chair and walked over to her lifting her head with his hand.
"What happened?" He questioned as he wiped her tears with his thumbs.
"Millie dm'ed me and well yeah," She lightly spoke. She pulled her phone out of her pocket and let Chris read the same message. She watched as his eyes softened at every word he read. He could understand why a message like this could make Alora cry as hard as she was, it was heartbreaking.
"Oh wow," He said trying to process everything he read. He looked to meet Alora's eyes as he noticed that she was just crying harder now. "But look Alora she's okay now. She fought and she stayed, and you helped her do that. She in no way deserved to experience any of that, but it formed her into the strong person she seems to be today," Tears were streaming down Alora's face as she let her head fall onto Chris's chest. Chris took it upon himself to wrap his arms around the emotional girl. "You're okay, she's okay. Just take it easy," He whispered into her ear.
"Thank you Chris," Her words were muffled by Chris's shirt as she clung to him.
The two pulled away from the hug but somewhere in between they got caught in each other's gaze. Chris's hand found its way back to hold Alora's cheek. Chris didn't miss the way Alora's eyes dropped down to his lips and back up. The two started leaning towards each other, the matter of millimeters being the only distance between contact when Nick barged into the room making the two jump away from each other.
Nick looked at the two suspiciously but didn't mention anything about what he almost just walked into, "Madi, Matt, and I were wondering if the two of you would care to join us in the living room for a movie?"
"Yeah sounds fun," Chris said quickly walking out of the room.
"You still gonna deny that there's something going on between you and Chris?" Nick asked as Alora's cheeks flushed into a deep shade of pink.
A smile laid upon her lips when she spoke, "I can and honestly I probably will." Nick raised his eyebrows at the girl as she walked out of the room. She didn't even give him a chance to ask about the crying before she left. She stopped in the bathroom to rinse off her face before joining the four.
