Man of the night

Chapter - 7

I got what I wanted. It's time to find out the true. At the first page, I found a family picture. Below ,it was written,
" 𝑩𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒔 𝑭𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒍𝒚 " 

" Bates Family? Who are they? " wynter said.

" What are you doing in my bed? You were sleeping, right?" Elviera said.

" yeah, but my eyes got open by itself " said wynter

" So?" said Elviera.

" It never happened before." wynter said.

" Just go back to sleep and don't disturb me! " said Elviera.

" What are you reading at this hour?" wynter asked.

" None of your business. " said Elviera.

" Fine..." said wynter.

I saw wynter going back to sleep. Luckily,  she didn't find out what I was reading. But the main thing is, " 𝑾𝒉𝒐 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝑩𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒔 𝒇𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒍𝒚?"

Bates family... the family who founded this school for students who are different. This school has dorms, Library, Labs, classrooms, sport area, garden and..... secret? What does it mean?

Before I read further, the wind. It started to become cold. Something mysterious is happening somewhere. I feel like someone is coming... 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞.

Fire alarm? What's happening? I saw Zara and Wynter wake-up.

" What is happening? " Zara asked.

" I don't know. Why it's so cold in here and why the fire alarm is ringing? " wynter asked.

Suddenly, someone started banging at our door. I opened it and it was....𝘓𝘦𝘷𝘪?

" Hurry up! Come out! The lab caught on fire! " He said.

" Huh? What do mean?" Zara replied.

" Will you all stop freaking out?" Elviera said.

" Just come out, please!  It's not safe in here! " said Levi.

I saw the fire fighters controlling the Fire. I still have the book with me and no one noticed it. I just can't let it burn in fire, right?

6:27. We have been standing here for almost 3 hours. Suddenly, I heard miss Lauren's  voice and I hide the book behind my back.

" My dear students! please, don't worry! The fire is gone. We all are safe now. , Luckily, we all got out from there at the right time and no one is hurt. Soon, we will go back. Please, don't panic anymore. " Said Miss Lauren.

Even though the fire is gone, tiredness, fear and curiosity is visible in everyone's eyes. But here, I am just curious.

How did the lab caught on fire? No one goes there at night. And why the wind was getting colder right before the fire?

All the classes of today got cancel because of the accident. Everyone is still scared and tired. some are sleeping and some are gossiping about the accident.

Here, I am sitting in room, watching Zara and Wynter to freak out again.

" Why did it happened?  How did it happened!?  We almost died! " wynter said.

" Thankfully Levi came at the right time and warned us! " Zara said.

Even though, Zara and Wynter are slowly calming down, I am still curious as much as before. Thousands of questions are running in my head and I want answer of all the questions.
