oxymoron (n.) two normally contradictory words placed beside each other yet expressing a possible truth

even when they'd met when they were six, they'd always been opposites. he was the strong little man of the house, his smile hiding a pain inside; she was a carefree little lady, her heart made of pure happiness. they were, simply, an oxymoron in the form of people. when they were brought together, it was almost fitting that they'd be exactly that.
