I am so excited to tell Lucy that our dream is about to finally become a reality.
I spin my wheelchair around so fast that I accidentally ram into the dining room table. This happens a lot. When I have strong emotions, I lose control of my body. It happens more often when I am excited.
Mum chuckles again.
"Mya breath, I know you are excited to tell Lucy the good news, but you need to try and relax, so you don't wreck the house or your wheelchair, haha.I take a few seconds to centre myself. eventually calmed down enough to take control of my wheelchair so I could get into my bedroom safely.
I get my phone with shaking hands, It feels like it takes an eternity to find Lucy's number, but I eventually dialled her number, and she answered the first ring.
"Hello, Mya, why are you screaming?"
"I can't understand a word you are saying," she says while laughing.
"WE ARE GOING TO SEE OUR BOYS LIVE AND THEN MEET THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "WE ARE GOING TO MEET BTSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
there was no response. I took the phone away from my ear because I thought the phone was disconnected.
"Lucy, are you still there?
"Yeah, I'm here. Did you just say we are finally going to meet the boys?" Lucy sounds so dazed and shocked.
"YES," I screamed while crying.
I think what I was saying finally sunk in because Lucy started screaming and crying also.
After about twenty minutes of us crying together, we somewhat got ourselves together. Lucy said she was coming over so she could see the tickets and hold them.
"I need to know it's real, Mya."
"Come over now."
"I'll be there in two minutes."
Lucy lives next door, so it was seconds, then I heard my front door fly open. Lucy came shouting through the house.
"SHOW ME THE TICKETES!!!!!!!!!" "SHOW ME THE TICKETS."
She skidded to a stop inches away from me. She barely avoided falling over my wheelchair with the excitement.
I choked on a laugh because I was crying so much. I grabbed the tickets off my lap, nearly dropping them because my hands were still shaking. I gave them to her, Lucy looked down at them like they were the hole gravel and to us the were.
she had tears streaming down her face, now same as me, we couldn't hold it together.
Lucy was still looking down the tickets, she whispered.
"Mya, is this real? Are we really going to meet the boys?"
"Yes, it's real we are finally going to meet our boys face to face."
we hugged each other crying.
Mum and dad were crying and also watching us. in the moment, they finally understood how much BTS means to us.
Dad whispered to my mum, "we did good." Mum looked at us, still crying and looking at our tickets. She whispered back. "Yes, we did."
