I wanted to write a hippie Larry story and immediately thought about Woodstock, the historical music festival in the USA in 1969.
Since I wanted to make it as accurate as possible I made my research. All the artists they listen to in the story are those who perform in Woodstock, in that exact order.
I also got to read up on LGBTQ+ history in The States and England. Always interesting.
