Chapter 12

We drove to the training ground and he went changing without greeting anyone.

I went after him but Ferran stopped me.

"Its okay i'll handle it"

"Thanks"

Me and Mari went to sit on the bench and as we were watching them train she started about it.

"I told you he stood up all night" She's getting annoying.

"What about it? Jealous your boyfriend doesn't"
I said.

"Amelia don't you see it? He loves you!"

"Can we just not?" I whispered.

Practice was over and I was waiting  for Pedri.

Raphinha walked out of the room first, he's always the last so this is kind of a suprise.

"Bye Amelia"

"Raph wait"

"What is it?"

"How do you know when you love someone?"
I don't really know why i asked the Brazillian about it though.

"Is this about Pedri?"

"Maybe?"

"Uhm, how do you feel when you're around him?"

"It's like i never want to leave his side. He gives me so much comfort. I've never felt like this, with anyone."

"I think you're falling in love Amelia, I'm not supposed to tell you this but he talks about you all the time bro. Everyones getting tired of it." He says joking.

"Wow, thanks Raph"

"Always. But I'm gonna have to leave" he says looking at his Apple watch.

"Thanks, Bye"

The Pablo's came out arguing,

"Amelia, be honest who is the better Pablo?"
Gavi asked.

"Y'all are both annoying as fuck."

"Amelia i don't like this answer" Pablo Torre said

"I don't like you either."

"Where's Mari?"

"She left."

"Without me? Damn bro."

"I'll give you a ride"
Ferran said.

He's such an angel. They walked away but Ferran stopped to say something.

"Talked to Pedri."

"Thanks"
I whispered.

Pedri and i got into the car but he refused to start the engine.

"I'm sorry." 

"What for?"

"For lying to you."

"It's okay." I say while putting my hand over his.

He started driving,

"So, how long are you planning to stay at mine?"

"I can go home of you want to?"

"No, no, stay. I said it 'cause I don't think you have clothes with you."

"Yeah that.."

"I can drive you home to get some clothes?"

"Please?"
I said smiling

"Your wish is my command"

We were both on our phones.

"Wanna continue 'The Summer I Turned Pretty'?"

"Oh yeah sure."

"I'm stariving, aren't you hungry?"
He said walking to the kitchen,

I remember telling my ex I was hungry. I don't want that to happen again.

"No thanks"

"Don't lie to me."

"I'm not?"

"Yes you are."

"fine. Do you have fruit or something?"

"Amelia, fruit isn't a meal, now tell me what you want."

"An apple."

"I'm not gonna argue with you. I'll order pizza."

I wanted to go back to the living, but Pedri grabbed my arm.

"Wait."

"What Pedri?"

"Why did you lie."

"I'm sorry"

"That's not an answer."

I tore up in silence, but he didn't notice,but when he did, he walked up to me and took my left hand with both of his.

"It's okay you don't have to tell me."

"I'm sorry" I said crying.

He hugged me so tight I would probably smell like him after.

PEDRI'S POV :

she was lying. I knew it.

"Why'd you lie?"
I said busy on my phone ordering a pizza.

It was silent and out of nowhere i heard her sniff. I looked and she was tearing up, i walked up to her and took her hand.

"Hey it's alright you dont have to tell me okay?"

"I'm sorry"

I hugged her immediately, what was wrong? Honestly i don't even care anymore that she lied. I gave her a kiss on her head and put my cheek on it. I didn't want to be the first to let go so i waited.

i love her.

AMELIA'S POV :

i love him.

I let go after cause it was getting kind of akward.

"I'll tell you later."

"It's alright you don't have to tell me if you don't want to."

"No i'll be honest with you."
