We were eating but after 3 bites, I was full, i guess.

"Mhh no"

I stood up.

"Sit down."

It got very silent.

"Are you coming at our game against Manchester?"

"United or City?"

"City"

I choked on my food.

"Don't you know Manchester City?"

"Ofcourse I do..."

"Then what's so special about it?"

"I'll tell you later."

"The Summer I Turned Pretty?" Pedri asked

"Yeah, but I need to tell you something first."

"Are you sure?"

"I trust you."

"My ex... You could call him toxic. Once, we were at his house and I told him i was hungry since i hadn't eaten the whole day, He didn't do much, Well except for bodyshaming me. Since that happened, I haven't been eating well."

He made circles on my back with his hand.

"But what did City have to do with it?"

"'Cause-"

"And who the hell was that bastard."

"Pedri, you know him.."

"What the fuck"

"And he plays at City.."

"Was it.."

"Yes, Phil.."

"He's not getting away with this."

"Please don't."

"I don't promise you anything."

We were watching until i got a call from some some unknown caller. I turned the phone to Pedri.

"The number looks familiar, pick it up"

"Holaaaa"

"Fer you scared the fuck out of me."

I gave Pedri a sign that I'd be back in a minute.

"How did it go with you know who?" he said.

"It went great he appologised, thanks."

"Happy i could help."

I walked back to Pedri and put Ferran on speaker.

"Gotta go, watching some series, bye"

"Wait, what series?"

"The summer i turned Pretty"
Pedri said.

"YOU'RE WATCHING IT WITHOUT ME?"

"Yes we are, go watch it with, nevermind ."
Pedri said laughing

"Son of a bitch."

"Bye Ferran"
I giggles

"BYE POOKIE"
Pedri yelled.
