Mason & The Beanstalk

Silent Night Killer.

It's been at least two day after the incident with Mason's parents, Aluma and the girls were in the living room either sharpening their weapons, eating, or drinking mead. Mason was comfortable in Ruth's lap taking a small nap while he was listening to his music, luckily his phone worked up here and kept a consistent charge because of the highly charged clouds keeping the battery at full, and he got full internet so he could stay busy instead of sleeping, staring at a wall or something like that, Ruth was rather interested and picked up his phone and put it to her ear listening to the music and he was listening to living on a prayer by Bon Jovi as Ruth would put it down.

Ruth: "what is this witchcraft?! A person in this tiny thin box thing?! I'll get him out!!"

She shouted about to smash it but aluma stopped her while mason sighed in relief, giving his phone thingy back to him she sat back down while mason kept playing a bit listening to music and so forth before Davina yawned and stood up.

Davina: "Girls we need to go, I'm pretty sure no one is gonna get mason, which means Aluma your gonna have to leave him here."

Aluma: "w-what?! NO! I'm not leaving him alone!"

But Davina didn't like her response and grabbed her wolf ear pulling her down to the ground whispering something to her, before she agreed and stood up picking up mason and nuzzling him to her nose.

Aluma: "I won't be long wee yin, please be careful."

Mason: "I-I promise I'll be safe"

She sighed and set him down on the couch before grabbing her gear and walking out the door leaving him officially alone in her home, which was a mistake because soon a very patient and very busty assassin sneaks into the upstairs window peeking down the stairs to see the little boy on the couch, as she smirked she took out a small sack ready to snatch him up as she descended the stairs but then it creaks and mason turns to see the masked woman at the top of the stairs. They lock eyes for a brief moment before mason made a break for the door this caused the assassin to work quickly stomping in front of him to block him from the door, Mason immediately ran the other way under a clock the assassin looking around pulling off pillows and cushions to look for him until she say the clock and peeked underneath it as she saw him she threw a throwing knife and it barley misses mason grazing his arm a bit before he ran for the back door but it was too late he's snatched up and stuffed inside a canvas bag. The assassin leaves the house soon and runs across rooftops the bag hanging from her belt as it jostles mason around inside. Then she stops and rests on a ledge not far from the house to see the group was returning to the house Aluma was excited and her tail was wagging, but again the assassin smirks and jumps off into a alley never to be seen again, or that's what she thought.

Aluma's POV

I was so excited to finally see my wee yin again, even though we've only been gone for a bit I've missed him dearly, opening the door her heart drops to see her home was trashed, pillows everywhere, furniture flipped, the clock smashed and everything out of place, as she ran in to look for her wee yin.

Aluma: "MASON?! Wee yin!!?? Baby boy talk to me!!!!"

She cried out tears in her eyes as she sniffed the air but she couldn't smell him anymore, her eyes shut but then she growls getting angry her eyes glowing red, fangs growing longer as she howls, as her eyes spot a throwing knife on the ground she picked it up and saw it had the assassins clan symbol on it, her arm shaking as she shattered the blade with immense strength.

Davina: "aluma?"

When her leader called her name she turned to show that she was in her feral state, hair sticking up, snarling, eyes glowing blood red, fangs long, and nails turned into claws, as her team was scared to see this side of her, immediately Aluma ran outside and sniffed the air to catch masons scent following it close, her team following behind her.
