Happiness. Something Minho never honestly had throughout his life. The boy was sitting at his desk watching the stars twinkle softly, multiple workbooks were splayed around in front of him for his dance coursework. He smiled looking at the sight in front of him — he loved the stars and anything to do with space — he noticed the outline of Orion's Belt and lifted his phone to take a photo. Most of his camera roll was full of the stars and his friends especially his best friend Jisung. Jisung was an interesting person, to say the least, he was loud, obnoxious and loved to take up any rebellion. Minho was the opposite, he was quiet and reserved mostly being patrolled by his parents about anything he does. Time passed slowly as he admired the sky, his head falling to rest on his palm — he just wanted a break from life, from anything.

The next morning came as quickly as he passed out at his desk, his face mushed against his dance textbooks. A call echoed through his room, a frantic voice coming from the other line, "Minho! Where the fuck are you it's the first break," Jisung's voice was loud against his ear.

"Shit," he mumbled, it was a Friday so his parents will be at work by now, so he wouldn't have to worry about them, he'd just have to show up late, "I'll be there in twenty," Minho ended the call without anything else being said and left to get dressed, he didn't bother showering since he did yesterday. He grabbed a loose Tokyo Ghoul t-shirt and some black cargo and headed on his way, luckily most of the belongings he needed for today were already at school as he only brought his dance books home. Minho ran down the stairs and out the door plugging his headphones in and blasting his go-to playlist and walking relatively fast. A soft smell filled his nose leaving him smiling, he had no clue what it was, but God did he love it. He headed to the study room where most people in the last two years hang out and found his best friend.

"Oh look who decided to show up," He teased throwing an arm around their other friend Felix. Something was going on between Jisung and Felix, but they never spoke about it, Minho sat beside the two who were cuddling making sure to distance himself.

"Shush, I fell asleep at my desk," Minho's voice barely projected as he grabbed a pen and paper from the desk all the students pile their work on. He mindlessly doodled small characters and wrote random song lyrics as he let the time pass by.

"Lesson starts in a few minutes come on," Jisung climbed off of Felix's lap and pecked his head to say goodbye before dragging Minho to their literature class. The elder loved writing, he either wanted to be a dancer or a writer when he graduated, possibly both if he could find the time. Their task today was to write a freestyle story while keeping it in the contemporary field, he quickly planned out a brief idea for the story before finally getting to work on the main story. Minho wanted to incorporate the smell from earlier, something about a teenage boy finding the sweet smell of a boy's perfume and everything unfolding for their relationship from that moment. He pushed the bridge of his circular glasses up his nose and finally brought his pen down to the book in front of him, most people had started writing but Minho wanted to get a feel for the characters and plotline first. Once he began there was no stopping his flow, words pouring onto the page allowing him to let his thoughts out for once. It was his most used way of getting his emotions and thoughts out, he hated telling his friends about his home life or personal problems. Jisung tried to help, and he did, but sometimes it just wasn't enough. Around an hour and a half passed and their time was pulled to a halt by their teacher and they had to hand in their final stories, Minho stood up first speeding to the front to get back to his seat before the crowd of teenagers formed at the main desk.

"Hey Min, you up to lunch with us?" A melodic voice filled his ears making him turn around with a smile.

"Hi Seung, yeah I'll come to join you if I feel up to it," Seungmin gave a nod and linked arms with someone he didn't quite know and left. Minho got up and left the room with his books to put them back into the locker before going to meet Jisung who left midway through the lesson - presumably to hook up with Felix. He managed to find him in the cafeteria on their usual table with exaggerated arm movements, Minho headed over watching as he explained something to the other two at the table, "Hey," He sat down.
