I lied to my co-workers
When they asked if I was doing anything after work...
Lied to them when they asked if I had any plans for the holidays.
The Answer was always "Yeah I have plans with my boyfriend after'' or "My family and I are going to Costa Rica this weekend"
Yeah... I lied.
But you would lie too if your life was as bad as mine.
You would lie just like me if you had to wake up every morning to silence.
You would lie if every time Christmas came around you would spend it alone watching Netflix.
You would lie so they wouldn't look at you with pity or invite you to their outings just because they feel they need to.
So yeah, I lied...
& I don't feel bad about it.
My entire life is a sin...
What's wrong with adding one more?
