Jungkook laid on the floor as Kris's father took some steps back. Jin stood in the doorway with his arms crossed. He looked at Jungkook and saw him holding his stomach his eyes widened, and he went to him. "What the fuck just happened?" He gently placed a hand on Jungkook. "Are you okay? Did he do this?" Jungkook nodded, and he was surprised with what came next. Jin stood up and rushed to the man. Grabbing his shirt and flipping the man over his shoulder. "This is what you get for hurting a minor!"
"Fuck!" Kris's father sat up trying to take a breath in. It was hard, but he was able to, and it made him feel like shit. "Do you not know who I am?" He said in between gasps. "I can ruin you!" Jin bent down to Kris with a heavy glare. Something about that look told him to shut up before he lost some teeth.
"You laid your hands on a minor who did what? Trip your son? Dodge his punches?" Kris's father's eyes widened. "I know a lot of shit that happens with him." Jin pointed at Jungkook, who was able to sit up, but it hurt like hell. "He didn't do anything wrong, so you're going to apologize to him before you're sleeping with the sharks." Jin smiled and patted the man's back. "Go on." Mr. Wu stood up and walked over to Jungkook, who looked at the man with disgust. He bowed.
"I'm sorry for what I did, I'll pay for your hospital bill if anything is broken." Jungkook nodded. "Is anything broken?" Another nod. "Shit, sorry."
"My rib is cracked, I think." Jungkook spoke up, and Jin went back to him with a worried expression. "I'm okay, hyung. It doesn't hurt that badly." He says, but he winced in pain when he tried to move. Jin held out his hand to Mr. Wu, who sighed. He took out his wallet and pulled out about 20,000 dollars. Jungkook's eyes widened in shock, but Jin just looked at it like the man was being cheap. "Hold shit." Jin snatched it and picked Jungkook up bridal style. He tried to be as gentle as possible while carrying him out of the school.
"I'll take you to get checked up." Jungkook smiled as he looked at Jin's face. He really found him handsome. It was crazy. "I'll take a picture for you later. You can put it as your lockscreen on your phone." Jin teased, and Jungkook blushed. He wanted to slap Jin, but he didn't want to damage his face.
"Shut up, hyung." Jin chuckled and very carefully placed Jungkook in his car.
"Before going, tell me the truth. Is it broken?" Jin questions while looking at Jungkook with a serious look. The younger nodded, and the two drove off to the hospital, where they saw one of Jin's friends at the front desk talking to a nurse. "Namjoon, I need you to do a check-up on Jungkook." Namjoon stopped talking to the nurse and looked between the two with a raised brow. "He believes his rib is cracked or broken."
"Are you having difficulty breathing?" Jungkook nodded. "Come this way." He started to walk in the direction of a room where the teen could take off his shirt and not feel embarrassed. Jungkook still felt nervous to do so since Jin was in the room. "Alright, I need you to remove your shirt." Namjoon said, but Jungkook was frozen. "Jungkook?" Jungkook looked at the older. "I can only do a check-up on you since I'm only an intern here. I'll write down what's wrong and give it to a doctor who is suitable for this work." Jungkook nodded and slowly lifted his shirt to show the bruise on his side. Namjoon reached over and touched him gently. Jin glared a little bit, but he took a deep breath since he knew Namjoon was just doing his job.
"Is it broken?" Jin asked since Namjoon seems to be taking his sweet time checking up over. Namjoon removed his hands and grabbed a clipboard that had an information sheet on it. He wrote some stuff down and handed it to Jungkook.
"Fill in the blanks for me. Just some information we will need." Jungkook nodded and grabbed the paper. Filling it out, he saw it was just to confirm who he was and his insurance. "Thank you, I'll be back with a doctor." The two nodded and watched as Namjoon left the room. Jin then walked closer to Jungkook, who placed his shirt back on since it was a little chilly in the room.
"I didn't know ow you had abs. What have you been doing?" Jungkook blushed at Jins comment.
"Just sports."
