Android's Dream

umi closely looking at his watch, waiting the minute's needle complete it's turn. Soon he pulled out a thermometer from Tohya's mouth. The number showed 38 degrees, Tohya was having fever. umi put back the thermometer inside the first aid box.

"You had a fever, no wonder I couldn't shake you out from sleep," said Yuh, sitting at the edge of the bed. Tohya was at his bed, with frown face, starred at his brothers.

"You don't have to go to school. Take a rest at home, tomo will inform your teacher," said umi.

"Should we take him to see a doctor?" Yuh suggested.

"No! I don't want to go to the hospital!!" Tohya quickly reacted in panic. Both umi and Yuh were surprised.

"It's alright, Tohya. The doctor would only examine you. You don't have to stay for a night there," told Yuh.

"I don't want to go!" Tohya shook his head. He stared to umi with his puppy eyes. Tohya always put the look every time he wants something, and umi knows Tohya won't give up before he gets his demands. That's the stubborn side of Tohya. umi slowly took a sigh.

"Yes, yes, you don't have to go to the doctor. Just rest at home, but with one condition," umi stared to Tohya. "You really have to take a rest, no joking around with tomo. If you disobey, and if the fever gets worst, either you like it or not, you'll have to see the doctor," told umi. Tohya slowly nodded with umi's condition. For him it's better to lying down at bed for all day, than going to the doctor.

"Is it really fine if Tohya doesn't see the doctor?" asked Yuh as they left Tohya's room. "I'm not sure he would stand being in bed for all day,"

"I'm not sure either, but he never wants to go to the doctor, right?" said Umi.

"Is Tohya's illness that bad?" asked tomo. He has been waiting downstairs, while umi and Yuh checked on Tohya's condition. rui was also with him. Both were looking worried.

He's fine, there's nothing to worry about," told umi.

"The problem is he doesn't want to go to the doctor," Yuh added the information.

"It's for sure, no matter what, Tohya won't ever go to the doctor. He's been like that ever since ..." tomo stopped. Everyone stills. They surely know the reason why Tohya was objecting to go to the doctor.

"Both of you better go for school," told umi, breaking down the silence.

"But, I'll see Tohya first. I must tell him that I'll be going," asked Tomo walked to the stairs.

"No joking, okay?" warned umi. tomo grinned, saying he understands and quickly with rui went to see Tohya.

After rui and tomo left for school, umi quickly made chicken porridge for Tohya. He patiently feeds Tohya with the porridge. Yuh smiled watching Tohya being so spoiled to umi. After finished eating, umi gave Tohya some pills for the fever.

"Now you rest," told umi, tidying Tohya's blanket.

"Where are you going?" asked Tohya looked nervous in the sudden.

"I'm going to clean the house, after that I'll be working in my room. I'll check on you once a while," said umi. Tohya stared at Yuh.

"I will be going to college," answered Yuh with a smile. Tohya pulled up his blanket. "You just take a good rest. I'll try to go home as fast as I could," Yuh messed up Tohya's hair who replied with a spoil tone.

"Ck," said umi when he sees inside the medicine's closet. The medicine for Tohya was running out. He has to get it before the next drinking schedule.
