Frederick waits impatiently in the emergency waiting room; the intention was killing. He would repeatedly get up walk around the room and sit back down. He couldn't get the filling of her cold lips against his off his mind. He seated himself placing his hands over his face. How long has it been. To him it felt like a life time of misery.
The doors to the waiting room flung open and enter a man dressed in scrubs. Frederick rushed over to him.
"How is she?" Frederick asks in panic
The man removes his mask from over his mouth. "She'll recover.....but...."
"But what!?"
The man swallows hard. "We've lost the baby"
Fredrick felled back into a near by chair.
"Baby?"
