December 20th, 1977

Every morning in the last four days Terzo had come to Eden's door, waiting patiently to walk her to breakfast. The last two days Eden hadn't eaten anything for breakfast, which worried Terzo but he chalked it up to just not being hungry.

Eden sat nervously in Sister Imperator's office, with Omega standing behind her as they anxiously waited for Imperator to arrive. The meeting with Imperator was a crucial one, but it was also difficult to secure an official appointment with her due to her busy schedule, especially with Christmas day fast approaching. Eden's heart raced with anticipation as she mentally rehearsed what she wanted to say.

As she sat there, she couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. What if Imperator forced her to go back to her old school? That was the last thing she wanted. All she longed for was to be able to study at the ministry alongside Terzo. Although she would undoubtedly miss her old school friends, she knew that being at the ministry would be a much safer option for her in the long run, reducing the risk of her parents ever finding her.

She took a deep breath to calm her nerves as Imperator walked into the office. Eden's eyes met with Imperator's as the woman greeted them with a warm smile, "Good morning, dear."

"G-Good morning, Sister. Thank you f-for seeing me," Eden replied, trying to mask her nerves with a polite smile.

Imperator took a seat at her desk, motioning for Eden to do the same as Omega stood against the wall. Eden's eyes darted around the room, noting the religious artifacts that adorned the walls and the desk, that she hadn't noticed before. She felt a pang of guilt, knowing that her parents would be furious if they knew she was here.

Imperator leaned forward, her eyes fixed on Eden. "So, Eden, what brings you here today?"

Eden swallowed hard, her mouth suddenly dry. She took a deep breath and began to speak, "I-I'd like to finish my studies h-here at the Ministry." She spoke as Imperator listened intently, nodding along.

When she finished, Imperator leaned back in her chair, considering what Eden had said. "I see," she said thoughtfully. "And why would you like to study here at the Ministry? Don't you think your other school friends would miss you?"

Eden smiled, relieved that Imperator was taking her seriously. "They can manage without me," she said, growing even more confident with every word she spoke. "I believe it would be safer for me in the long run."

"I assume, you'd like to study alongside Terzo."

Imperator nodded, a small smile playing at the corners of her lips. "Very well, then. I will speak to Terzo's teacher and see if he is willing to take you. I can't make any promises, but I will do my best to accommodate you."

Eden felt a sense of relief wash over her. This was the first step towards realizing her dream of studying at the Ministry. She thanked Imperator for her time and left the office with Omega, feeling lighter than she had in the last few days.

As they walked through the halls of the Ministry, Eden couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. She was finally breaking free from the hell she lived in before, and the thought of being able to study at the Ministry with Terzo filled her with hope.

Omega touched her shoulder, bringing her back to the present. "Are you okay?" he asked.

Eden nodded, a smile spreading across her face. "I'm just excited!" She said as she shook with happiness.

Omega grinned her as they neared the bottom of the staircase. "How about we go get some celebratory ice cream?"

"The kitchen has ice cream?" She questioned as her eyes lit up at the thought. The ghoul grinned devilishly at her from under his mask.
