I sat in the cafè and opened my sketchbook to draw all my sorrows away. I find that the intricate shapes and warm colours bring me simple joy.Poetry did too. It was like reading words my mind didn't want me to accept. It was a good kind of uncomfortable. It was as if I was reading memories I had forgotten.
"Han so hee"
I got up to get my drink and snapped back to reality. Something I hardly ever wanted to do. The bright, yellow sun hit my face as I saw a dark haired figure sitting at my table looking through my artwork and reading the blurb of my book. It seemed as though I had looked for to long because as I was about to turn to look away, he turned around.
Grinning.Surprisingly my face felt hot and my I felt jittery. I walked back to my table, nervous and softly smiling. He had deep brown eyes that reminded me of autumn leaves. It was my favourite season."You're really talented and that just so happens to be my favourite book" he says looking into my eyes as if he was trying to figure me out. Trying to learn me.
"Thank you. I try" I say in a tone that's almost flirtatious. "What do you like about poetry?"my eyelashes batting away.
"I like that it's an escape."
"From what exactly?" I suprise myself once again, wanting to learn more about him.
"Maybe you'll learn later nabi"
"Was that a reference to nevertheless?" I then spot his neck tattoo and ask myself if he is a player.
But...it is my favourite kdrama.
"Yeah, it is" he smiles.
"Why did you choose to get it?"
"I believe women should be able to fly freely especially if their gorgeous like you."
"Glad that you arent a sexist creep" I laugh."well if you think I'm that gorgeous why dont you take my number?""You're very keen arent you?" He chuckles as he types his number into my phone saving it as butterfly stranger. That was the last time I ever saw him...
