CHAPTER THIRTY TWO

Adams P.O.V

This party is lit, I kept flirting with so many hot guys I didn't even think to look around for the birthday boy, which reminded me that I needed to find him and give him his presents, after searching the whole house I decided to head upstairs thinking he came and needed privacy with Lucy.

Someone bumps into me as I was about to climb the stairs so I turn to curse them out and it was Tristan.

" hey man,I was looking all over for you" I said to him smiling, I was about to give him a hug when I saw that even in the ventilated room he was sweating as hell and his eyes were red too "why are you sweating so much?" I asked him concern.

"Lucy,Tony, upstairs" he told me.

I quickly started running up the stairs because so many things where going through my mind and I kept wondering if Lucy was ok.

I open the door and that is when Tony was getting off of Lucy with their whole upper body naked.

"What the fuck did you do?" I shouted.

Immediately I saw red, I grabbed him and hit his face so hard, I kept hitting and shouting,blows upon blows kept coming the fuckers way, I was hitting him where it will show and hurt.

"Adam what are you doing?,You need to stop Lucy isn't moving"I heard Lisa said and I immediately left the idiot alone,which by now had a swollen face.

"I'm sorry please I had to do it" he whispered and was about to leave the room as people started gathering.

" where do you think you are going to? Lisa call the police and the rest of you get the fuck out the party is over" I screamed.

Immediately the people heard police they all started leaving. I went down the stairs and told the DJ to pack up and leave which he did, I want to the bathroom to get some water as I pulled it on Lucy when I went back to the room but she didn't wake up so I carried her to the car.

The police arrived and I told them everything I saw and they carried Tony away, they said they will detain him until Lucy wakes up and files a proper report.

Because I was panicking so much Lisa collected the car and started driving to the hospital and I kept calling Tristan but he wasn't picking up, I gave him so many miss calls my phone ran down.

I didn't know what he saw but he needed to understand that it was a misunderstanding I mean clearly the nut head drugged Lucy, there is no way she would have allowed that to happen otherwise, not everything had to be black or white and I expect that if he doesn't like or trust Tony atleast he will trust Lucy and pick up the phone now that she needs him the most.

By the time it was 1am I was beyond exhausted and the Doctors weren't saying nothing reasonable, they didn't know when she will wake up as her body is having a negative reaction to the drugs but they were working towards it, for me that piece of information was completely useless I just wanted her to wake up already cause I was so stressed out.

Just like that two days went by and I was still yet to hear a word from Tristan,I couldn't leave the hospital but when Lisa dropped by to stay with her I decided to pay Tristan a much needed visit.

I was thinking of all the ways I will put the fucker in his play when I go there, I arrived his house and because he didn't open the day I entered his door code and entered inside.

Everywhere was upside down I didn't even see him there and I kept asking where he will be when it suddenly occurred to me to call Lexi and I did but she didn't pick up too so I returned to the hospital worried for my two best friends.

LEXI' P.O.V

"Tristan wait, where are you going" I called after him when he ran out of the house like I knew he was going to.

"I can't stay here anymore" he responded crying.

"Ok,ok let me that you home give me the car keys" he handed over his car keys to me, we entered the car and I started driving.

You see Lucy, I told you that I will get Tristan back in the end but you didn't believe me, you were comfortable and didn't even think I was a threat now watch me get my man back I thought to my self smiling as I looked at how heartbroken he looked.

I first met Tony in my sophomore year, he was looking handsome everything I would want in a man, so I couldn't resist him and I cheated on Tristan. Tristan was the idea boyfriend always ready to help me with my school work from when we were in high school to college and I never would have made it to college if not for him, but I couldn't deny that he was boring, always wearing annoying glasses like the nerd that he was and never ready to have a good time, I had to admit that I was and still am out of his league.

I never expected Tristan to find out about it and I never wanted him to leave but he did and my grades started falling along with everything in my life, I discovered that all along Tony was having sex with our economics lecturer Mrs Gale a divorcee or rather Miss Gale, I approached him about it and he didn't even deny it, I can't say I was hurt because I didn't love him but then again I didn't love anyone but myself.

I came back to Tristan but it was kind of late he already moved on with a Stripper, a very rude one at that, it's the fact that she became comfortable with having me around that annoyed me the most.

So all I did was record Tony having sex with Miss gale in her office and threaten him with it,and we can say the rest is history.

Not to brag but I'm really good at this game,I knew Lucy's friend wasn't going to work again so I made Tony apply for the position and he got it, tonight I gave him what he will pour in her drink and like the stupid gullible idiot she is, she collected it and drank it.

I turned back to a crying Tristan on the sofa when I was finished with celebrating my little victory.

"Maybe we should go back home Tristan, I have it all figured out, we can leave first thing tomorrow morning" I whispered to him as I hugged him.

" I can't leave school" he said

" I'm not asking you to, we can continue school online and you don't have to stay her and face her again" I said " it just hurt me that she would do this to you"

"Maybe it's a misunderstanding and I need to sort it out" he replied suddenly pulling away "I need to find her and ask her why she would make me fall inlove with her that hard and break my heart this bad".

He cleaned his tears and grabbed his car keys. Ok so this plan is not going as I thought and it's time for plan B.

I quickly followed behind him.

"Look, I didn't want to do this to you but I figured she was only using you and since you didn't believe me, I had to record our conversation" I said to him.

I removed my phone behind my back pocket and played the conversation I had with Lucy before the party started, the one I told her about Tony liking her and she said she likes him too, before the recording will reach where she said she was inlove with Tristan, i offed it.

"That's it Tristan I guess you were a joke to her all along" I told him shading a few drops of tears to make it look real.

"My God, why do I have to be such a fool? Why I'm I ever not enough?" He kept on going on and on wallowing in self pity then all of a sudden he said.

   "Let's go back home"
