17. - fiancé

The tired feeling was haunting you in early morning, waiting for Yeonjun in cafe while hearing people's talking around and the sounds of cutlery clinking the plates.

Everything what you wanted to say to Yeonjun was repeating in your head so you wont forget about anything and make him understand.

You were scrolling on instagram and you suddenly decided to check Beomgyu's profile of curiosity, you couldn't stop thinking about him.

When you clicked on his profile you could still see the picture he took of you in the restaurant, the day when your relationship with your ex fell apart.

Your eyes widened as you saw the picture still on his profile.

'He didn't delete it..?'

Yeonjun's voice pulled you out of your thoughts and sat infront you "hey Y/N why so early in morning?"

You put your phone down on table and took deep breath "Hey Yeonjun, so.." your hand drifted into your pocket for the ring box and put it on the table.

Yeonjun's mouth dropped on floor "isn't this my ring box?!"

"Yeah" you nodded, Yeonjun was ready to say something but you interrupted him.

You started to explaining the situation between you and Beomgyu and the reason why the ring box was in your hands, ofcourse you needed to lie, the file thing was only between you and your boss.

Yeonjun sighed, too stunned to speak.

"What are we going to do now?" He said.

"I don't know but I need to keep your ring and wear it, because I told him I have fiancé" you sighed.

"Y/N.. that was for my girlfriend".

Now you felt embarrassed "Im sorry I just don't know what to do.."

"Alright listen, you can wear it and pretend it just don't lose it, it's still mine".

You nodded "don't worry, and thank you" smile on your lips grew.

"I see I need to buy another one, be glad that Beomgyu doesn't know that the ring was for my girlfriend" he started laughing and looked into your eyes.

"Yeah again im sorry" you chuckled and wore the ring on your finger.

Yeonjun with you entered the building where you will spend hours and hours working on your laptop with your friend Giselle just like everyday.

As you sat down in your desk beside Giselle she greeted you and looked on your outfit.

"You look amazing today Y/N!"

"Thanks Giselle, you too" you smiled and opened your laptop.

Your friend went quiet for some seconds, you glanced at her and your eyes meeting hers.

"You-" she gasped.

"Yes?"

"You are engaged!!" She said happily and checking your ring on your finger.

"I- Yeah I am" you nervously gulped but Giselle grabbed your hand and took you in the centre of floor.

"Everyone! Y/N is engaged everyone wish her luck for her relationship with her fiancé!" She raised your hand and your co-workers cheered up with clapping hands to you.

"Giselle what the heck are you doing" you put your hand down in embarrassment

"Cmon we need to celebrate it! Everyone here does it!" She said happily, you could see that even Jeong was clapping "it's our habit here!" She added.
