18. - stuck

Days passed and Soobin introduced his friend to you, his name is Huening Kai, in short Hyuka, he seemed really nice and sweet but the reason why you got to know him is your fake fiancé situation.

From now Hyuka will be your fake fiancé, you both needed to get used for a kiss and nicknames, just like normal couples. Of course it wasn't easy for you just like for him.

Beomgyu and you passed each other in kitchen in your work, no words were spoken between you and him again, completely strangers.

He is standing beside you and waiting till your tea was done.

"I'm sorry for making you wait" you tried to break the silence.

Beomgyu was about to say something but Hyuka's voice interrupted him.

"Hey sweetie could you help me with something after you are done?" He walked to the kitchen, seeing you and Beomgyu standing beside each other.

Beomgyu's eyes widened after hearing the nickname.

"You know I'm struggling with that since I'm a new worker here" he chuckled and glanced at Beomgyu.

"Apologies I will go now" Beomgyu said with shakily voice and left the kitchen.

You pulled Hyuka closer to you and whispered "that guy what was here is my ex, that's Beomgyu".

Hyuka's eyes widened and placed his hand on his mouth "oh-"

"Yeah.. anyway my tea is done show me what you need to help with".

Hyuka started working in your company one day ago, today it will be his second day, and he never interacted with Beomgyu till he saw him in the kitchen with you.

Giselle got to know your fake fiancé too, they were talking a lot because he has a working desk beside her, you didn't mind it at all.

It was currently 7pm, one more hour till your work will be done, Hyuka and Giselle were leaving earlier, and most of your workers too

Your fake fiancé gave you small kiss on your forehead in front Beomgyu who was going to his office, he quickly removed his gaze from you and minded his business.

"See you later then angel" Hyuka winked at you and left.

If you would be honest working alone in evening was relaxing to you, no Giselle's voice all the time, no Hyuka's loud laughing almost every minute and your loud co-workers weren't here.

After some minutes your last co-workers left and you were enjoying your time alone but you needed to go home already.

But one thing was on your mind, did you see Beomgyu leaving too?

You couldn't tell but you ignored your thoughts and started packing your things.

Your legs were heading to elevator and pressed the button, along with someone's finger. You quickly turned to see who is behind you.

'Beomgyu?'

He didn't say anything, he was holding eye contact with you but soon he removed his gaze from you. you could tell he was nervous by his body language.

You turned back to the elevator and entered inside with your ex.

"Ground floor right?" You asked and glanced at him.

"Yeah" he nodded as you pressed the button.

A big loud noise interrupted the uncomfortable silence and you with Beomgyu felt the elevator suddenly stopped moving.
