Chapter 1: Past and present

~ "Oh hey..old friend.." ~

Jay's POV

"Jay..i'm sorry but we have to break up.."

Those words..those words from Nya shattered my heart, i stared at Nya blankly 'What did i do wrong?' I thought. "W..why?" I asked with a shock.

"This relationship doesn't just work out..i'm sorry really but i'm not the one for you" Nya told me before leaving my room.

Few day's later

I made my way to Cole's room cause we had made some plans for today, i opened the door and that what i saw shocked me, i felt betrayed, alone.....

Cole and Nya turned look at me with surprise "Jay i-" Cole started.

I shook my head and looked at Cole with anger "Why Cole? WHY! I thought you would not risk losing me anymore! i thought-! we were best friends..." I backed away.

"We are best frie-" Cole tried.

I turned to glare at Nya. "and you! Breaking up with me just to be with my best friend! I...I can't believe you-" Tears started to stream down my face.

"Jay i'm sorry but we just love each other..we are still friends right?" Cole asked with concern.

I wiped away my tears and stared at Cole furiously. "Friends? FRIENDS!? You really expect me to still be friends with you after betraying me like this! no, never! Cole we are over, you can forget the friendship we had because you are nothing to me anymore..." I said before running to my room, in a way i ran into Lloyd but ignored it continuing my way to my room.

"Jay!" I heard Lloyd shouting behind me.

I shut the door behind me falling to my bed crying.

"Jay?" I heard Lloyd knocking my door.

"Not now Lloyd!" I shouted.

Lloyd was ready to open Jay's door but then changed his mind "Fine..but if you want to talk i'm here for you" Lloyd said before leaving.

Month later

We were eating breakfast all together it still hurted to see Nya and Cole together but i have learned at least somehow ignore it, i'm sitting next to Lloyd we were actually best friends now, he has been there for me since that episode last month or well..always but now i have realised it and i can actually vent to him if something is bothering me and everything have stayed between us unless i have myself wanted share my problems.

"Thank you Zane as always it was good" Lloyd said after finishing his pancakes.

"No problem" Zane replied.

Lloyd made his way to his room. I stared at my half empty plate.

"Jay, you aren't eating again-" Cole pointed out with worried tone.

"I'm not hungry" I replied sharply before leaving.

Lloyd's POV

"These books don't help me at all! I don't understand how Wu ever managed to be sensei" I said frustrated before looking around the room full of books, i sighed and started to pick up the books.

"Woah- looks like you really have took your time on reading these"

I dropped the books surprised because of sudden voice and turned around seeing Jay "Oh, hey Jay"

"Heh sorry for scaring you, anyway again about those master things?" Jay asked.

"Yeah..it's just i feel like i'm doing something wrong i have forgotten that simple of thing like training!" I said while sitting on my bed "Look at this mess now, i haven't slept for 2 days"

Jay sat next to me rolling eyes "How many times i have to say this to get it in your head? Forget those books and scrolls and be yourself! You don't need be like your uncle, you're great leader you've always been don't change what you are because of new title" Jay said.

I'd smile "Yeah you're right, thanks Jay!" I started again to clean the books and scrolls.

"Let me help" Jay said and started to pick up scrolls.

After cleaning up i laid on my bed, Jay had left in the middle of cleaning to go check one situation it was something about Teapot of Tyrahn he looked very worried so i let him go with Nya hoping it would at least somehow fix their friendship.

Jay's POV

"Heh..where the teapot is now" I said while looking around Tixx.

"Here's nothing about teapot we have to just hope Nadakhan isn't back and if he is at least we know how to defeat him" Nya said and made her elemental dragon.

"I guess you're right we have searched for hour after all- just go i'll come later" I replied to Nya who nodded.

I went to only few cameras this small town had and i froze when i saw the record, there was Nadakhan in one frame i took a picture with my phone and summoned my elemental dragon but then he appeared in front of me.

"Oh hey..old friend.." Nadakhan said.

"N..Nadakhan but it's Impossible! I wished that no one would ever find your teapot!" I said backing away.

"Well...your wish came to true no one found it but it was so rusted and old that all the magic from it has now finally faded away meaning i had chance to escape from it..." Nadakhan

I shot him with lighting to make him disappear for a while fastly flying to bounty. 'I have to tell Lloyd!' I thought. During flight i sent the picture of Nadakhan to Lloyd.

Texting

Lloyd: what is that?

Jay: Nadakhan, a villain i'll explain more at the bounty but i'll say he is dangerous and if he tells you to wish DON'T wish anything.

Lloyd: Alright.

End of texting

I arrived to the bounty and ran inside "Lloyd! Nya! Guys!" I shouted.

Everyone ran to me "What's wrong?" Kai asked.

I showed picture of Nadakhan, Nya backed away with shock. I explained to everyone everything what happened last time he was there and saw everyone's worried faces.

"Alright...no wishes also we are going to realm crystal now, before Nadakhan gets it" Lloyd said calmly, even though i could hear small panic in his voice.

When others left the room expect Lloyd he quickly turned look at me with whole panic "Tell me..how do we defeat him?!" I was first surprised he never have been this panicked before but then i replied "This time..i don't know last time i wished no one finds the teapot but the teapot's magic has faded away meaning Nadakhan can escape..other way is wishing he isn't jinn but he's too smart for that unless we get spider widows venom again to slow him down so he can't teleport-"

"Of course we have to get venom which last time almost killed Nya, if i didn't understand that explanation wrong so my luck" Lloyd sighed "Let's just got to that realm crystal first..."
