Chapter 5: Old enemy....or friend?

"What do you mean they're gone?" Nya asks.

"I...uh...Go look yourself!" Cole says.

Nya sighs and checks the cabin, window is broke and there's hammer on floor. "Damn it, Kai..." Nya mutters and turns to Cole. "Didn't i tell you to watch over them?"

"Well yeah but how would i have known they would start breaking windows?" Cole asks.

"This is just ridiculous. My brother never listens, but i thought he had common sense!" Nya says.

"Can i help?" A voice behind them says.

They turns around to see Zane. "Zane! You're working!" Nya says.

"Yes, thanks to you." Zane says.

"Good to see you back, buddy. Jay and Kai decided to go after Lloyd." Cole says.

"After Lloyd?" Zane repeats tilting his head.

"Yeah, Lloyd dissappeared and we suspect it was Nadakahan who took him. Kai being a idiot left with Jay to look for them." Nya says.

"Oh." Zane says.

Meanwhile

"Uhm...maybe this wasn't such a good idea." Jay says as they fly with their dragons in the dark forest.

"You can go back then since your so scared but i'm not going." Kai says.

"No, i'm not scared! I mean- like, others could help and-" Jay starts.

"Help? Didn't seem be eager to help when locking us." Kai scoffs. 

Jay just sighs before glancing around. "Where are we even going? Do we have single lead? Where even are we?" 

"I don't know." Kai says unbothered by the fact they're most likely lost.

"Oh...great." Jay mutters sarcastically. Suddenly they hear a sound from a nearby tree and they both stop. "W-What was that?" Jay asks gulping nervously.

"Pft, probably some bird or something." Kai says dismissively.

"Yeah you're probably right-" Jay starts but screams startled his dragon dissapearing when suddenly a ghost appears in front of him, and he falls into some bush in ground, the fall wasn't that hihg but ugh....

"Morro." Kai growls eyeing the ghost.

"What? Where!?" Jay shouts from ground. 

"You got some nerve showing your face in this real after last time." Kai says.

"Relax fire ninja, I don't plan anything this time." Morro says.

"Yeah, like I'd believe that. Cause, last time I checked you tried to curse whole ninjago and you also possessed Lloyd." Kai says.

"Oh, still bitter about that? I've changed so keep that fire of yours in check." Morro says.

Jay untangles himself from the bush with some struggle, he sighs annoyed and gets up to the tree Morro was on.

"Why I have feeling you are involved in Lloyd's dissapearance?" Kai asks.

"If I wanted to give him taste of knife I would be with him not walking here around." Morro says leaning against nothing.

"Wait, what did you say?" Jay asks.

"You sound like you know something." Kai says his eyes narrowing.

"You looking for some genie guy? Well I saw his hideout though he has probably has changed it by now." Morro says.

"Ah! We're not falling for your trap!" Jay says struggling to keep his balance due to standing on rather thick branch.

"Not a trap." Morro says.

"Hah, as if i- woah!" Jay says almost falling off but manages trap on the branch.

"Jay, concerate!" Kai snaps.

"What do you think I'm doing?" Jay snaps back.

"If you really know where the hideout is, better show it." Kai says landing down unsummoning his elemental dragon.

"Alright theb." Morro says starting lead the way while Jay gets down and then he and Kai follow.

Meanwhile

"They didn't take any devices or vechiles, I am unable to track them." Zane says.

"Oh this goes perfectly." Cole says sarcastically before starting list things
"First some gene comes in ninjago who we supposedly have fought before but don't remember,  then Lloyd dissapears and now Kai and Jay are who knows where without a plan."

"Well maybe you should have looked after them better." Nya says.

"Didn't we go through that talk already?" Cole asks.

"Yes, but just reminding you." Nya says and turns to Zane. "Any ideas?"

"I advice we wait." Zane says.

"Wait?" Cole repeats.

"We don't know where they are and if we went look for them we could just possibly go further away from thrm." Zane says.

Cole sighs with resgines acceptance. "What am I to argue with nindroid?"

Meanwhile

Morro, Kai and Jay enter in nadakhan's hideout or well... What was the hideout.  "Uhm.... So can you prove nadakhan was here or.." Jay starts but gets interrupted when Morro throws a bloody knife in front of him and his eyes widen in horror.

"Enough proof?" Morro asks.

Kai picks up the knife examining it before turning to Jay. "You don't think...?" Jay starts.

"Most likely." Kai says.

"You two have a lot problems for not saying it out loud, yes, it's your little green friend's blood. Didn't stick around long, but saw a glimpse of the scene and if you ask me, it would be wiser to inform your friends instead of trying to be heroes on your own. You two stand no chance." Morro says.

"I hate to admit but he's right." Jay says.

"Oh really? Now he is right, we can do this ourselves you know-" Kai starts.

"Kai, he has the realm crystal so he probably has his crew back too. So-" Jay starts.

"Okay, okay, don't start." Kai says before grumpling. "Fine, he's right."

"What was it?" Morro says.

"That you are rig-" Kai starts again grumpling.

"I am what?" Morro asks with smirk.

"That you are right!" Kai snaps annoyed. "There, Happy?"

"Very pleased." Morro says.

"So uuhhh..." Jay starts glancing between Morro and Kai.

"Yes, we are taking him with us." Kai says his tone clearly hinting he doesn't like it but what other choise they have?

"Uhm him...like in the bounty..luke that ghost? Like him?" Jay says.

"Yes, me. Don't worry, I won't cause trouble actually I'll help you didn't your little friend. Take it as a amend." Morro says.

"Hah! Amend. Good joke." Kai says and starts walking out. Morro just shrugs not bothered and follows after. Jay gulps but follows behind anyway.

"Soo.. Which way?" Kai asks suddenly stopping.

"You mean to tell me we are lost!?" Jay exclaims.

"No..let me jsur uh remember." Kai says. Morro jsur leans against a tree, this should be interesting.

"Yes we are lost." Kai finally says with a defeated sigh.
