Sugar and Akechi sat in the hallway exhausted as the music from below reached their ears "So...what do we do now? Chiyome offed herself and now we're stuck twiddling our thumbs as to who sent not one but two assassin class servants, we can deduce that they aren't after Olga or any guests and since presence concealment is just a built-in stealth coating for assassins it's impossible to track servants with those kind of passive traits... Hell for all we know it's possible that theirs more." Akechi sighed getting up and plucking out the glass in his hands wincing as he did "Ow." Sugar got up and took his hand giving it a good look before pulling out the glass holding Akechi still before wiping the glass off in one precise move "Feel better?" Sugar asked letting go of his hand and letting him clench his hands
"Thanks, Sugar so what should we do?" Akechi asked staring out of the broken window "Chiyome...She said something about seeing both of us as a threat meaning that person knows about us even my secret." Sugar said worriedly the worst case scenario is that it could be any of the other colored curses but they were scattered... trying to find one is a like a game of finding Waldo except it's damn impossible unless one were to be physically showing off their combat capabilities, in addition, she knew none would summon a servant to aid them but it's possible after all it was years since she had met her old companions "I'm running into dead ends right now we might as well steer clear of the attendees for the night we can't have them panicking" Sugar said
"It's only a game of finding Waldo unless one of us steps out of our way to talk." A female with a gruff tone said the sound of the floor squeaking as they took a dash towards them Sugar blocked the attack with Durandal protecting Akechi who was unprepared for the sudden strike "...I-Is that the Red Mist?" I asked shocked by her appearance as Sugar sent her skidding back striking her multiple times with crystal atelier and Durandal "Just a job Sugar. You broke the key rules of the invitations. Even if it was just by a couple of minutes I'm here to kill your boyfriend" Gebura said coldly a red aura radiating from her
"So this was you're doing?" Sugar asked as Gebura lifted Mimicry off her shoulder "Just a job no hard feelings right?" Gebura said causing Sugar to emit a black aura "A job that put him in danger... He got injured because of you I'll make sure that it doesn't happen again." Sugar gritted her teeth feeling her anger pulsing through her Gebura dashed at Sugar both of their blades clashing causing the floor beneath them to crack under pressure "Gebura!" Sugar shouted dodging back and firing her shotgun at Gebura rapidly the Red Mist dodged the strikes and as Sugar went in with a hammer and mace in her hands Gebura attempted to counter her assault
Successfully breaking her attack and slashing her nicking her dress Gebura dashed up and slashed at her "He's mine and I won't let you take him away from me. It won't happen again!" Sugar roared as she swung an axe and mace striking Kali in the shoulder and side with both weapons before pulling out a katana and without unsheathing sending a flurry of cuts at Gebura as the Red mist retaliated with a fatal On rush causing the two to clash once more
"Tch. Is he worth all the trouble? He's caused irreparable damage to you. Angelica. You used to be cold and calculated so did you go and throw all that out the window? All for him? A human." Gebura said her body pulsating a crimson red as she dashed at Sugar slashing at her horizontally with quick reflexes Sugar pulled out a greatsword blocking the strike "Ironic hearing something having to do with love coming from you! You can't even find it in your own heart to physically cherish anything I'm tired of being the Black Silence so I decided to take the chance with him. So you don't have the right to look down on him!" Sugar was struggling against Mimicry before kicking Gebura back
"Mmph." Gebura cracked her neck and shoulder Sugar noticed the flare in Gebura's movement "Akechi run!" Sugar shouted as Gebura entered her E.G.O. form Akechi ran away with the inability to do anything and he ran outside only to be chained down onto the bench "Take a seat. It'll be for the better that you don't struggle." A woman donning a black outfit with yellow outlines on her dress and coat said who was sitting on a bench drinking some tea "Relax Akechi you will not be harmed" She said calmly but her demeanor was intimidating her eyes opened slightly revealing a yellow glow
"It's not like I have a choice," Akechi said still restrained "There are many choices they are vast and infinite of course right now you are only dumbed down to three. Talk, remain silent, or try and squirm your way out of my chains like you've attempted to do during our first encounter" Binah said sipping on tea and remaining silent for a moment "It's not easy to find one of us. Colored fixers are one of the greatest mysteries of the mage's association we are not born with these responsibilities but molded by experiences of hardship, loss, and purpose. It is mere luck that running not one but two in the same place." Binah said sipping on her tea the chains unbinding Akechi
"Care to drink?" Binah offered causing Akechi to have some suspicion as she pushed a tea cup on a plate over "Is it weird that you just have a tea set with you?" Akechi questioned causing Binah to smile amused "I suppose it's strange indeed. Now, it's been quite some time since we've met Akechi." Binah said placing down her tea cup and placing her hand on his cheek caressing his skin softly "Soft and smooth just like before. I want you to understand death does not await you here. Gebura can be a hot-headed fool but she's not here to kill you as of matter of fact she's also yearning. Jealous of something only Angelica has." Binah said leaning back "Love? So what this is all because of jealousy?" Akechi questioned causing Binah to shake her head subtly
"A bit of that, it's the reason to protect. She lost the one person close to her heart... Gebura fell in love with a man a few years back at the same time as Angelica had shown you mercy. A broken man. A pitiful man... she took him in protecting and helping him grow and step out of the self-wallowing pit he found himself in and giving herself a purpose that she took seriously. Then one day she had taken one misstep during a request and the mages association was on her trail. The child had been captured and used as bait to bring her out. Of course, their cruelty ended with Gebura accidentally striking out of rage turning them into a red mist." Binah recounted "A delicate flower that had decayed in an instant just before it could bloom once again." Binah took another sip of her tea
"That doesn't explain why she's even here" Akechi said before putting the pieces together and all Binah did was smile "You are truly a prized possession between the Red Mist and Black Silence even catching the eyes of our dear director." Binah said getting up the tea set disappeared "I also should warn you. The world will not be kind to you in the future where everything is bleak. White like a blank canvas or devoid of existence. Enjoy your peace... Orlando." Binah muttered the last part unintelligible to Akechi her eyes opened fully with a softened gaze as she looked over her shoulder for a moment and within a blink of an eye any trace of her had disappeared beside the lingering warmth from her hand on his cheek
As Akechi was lost in thought the sounds of screaming and magus running out the door could be heard and Akechi ran inside hurriedly and worriedly to see Gebura and Sugar facing off Sugar was bleeding profusely as Gebura was also and as he was about to rush in Olga bumped into him "You idiot what's going on!? I thought you said this place was secure-" Olga was interrupted by Akechi "Get to the car and wait for us there I need to-" Akechi peered over Olga's shoulder watching Gebura plunge her blade through Sugar Akechi's eyes widened in shock
'Ah! I realize it: your beauty lies in the force of your being. You are like those who never left the sad fireside corner of my poor black heart.'
