Nova's POV
The drive was long at least 6 hours until we saw the sign we entered the city, Mountainview.
The girls are currently asleep after we had lunch. I'm pulling into the town and manage to put the address in the GPS.
The town is lovely and has a very community feel about it. I pull up to the address Sam gave me confused.
It doesn't look like a house. It's a large building that has motorcycles lining up outside. I can hear loud metal music from inside and a few yells from inside my truck.
I park my tuck and pull up the map and the text Sam text, seeing that the addresses are the same. I call Sam.
"Hey, Nova are you almost here yet? I know you texted me it would be a while but it's been a while and I'm getting impatient."
"Sam, I'm here, but I don't think I'm at the right house."
"Oh, did you put the address in right?" I can't help but roll my eyes.
"No, I didn't even think about that. Of course, I put it in right. What I mean is the house is not a house." I tell her.
"Oh um well, let me come out." She hangs up quickly. I don't think she's going to come out of the wordy place in front of me until the door opens and out walks my little sister.
I look at her in shock, she looks the same as she did 5 years ago. The same dirty blonde hair, the same chocolate brown eyes.
I get out of the truck and Sam runs over to me like a little kid. She comes close to me and screams, drawing attention to us.
"Nova!" She jumps on me causing me to stumble and almost drop her to the floor.
"Sammy!" I hug her back squeezing her then letting go remembering her pregnancy.
"How are you? How was the drive? Where are my nieces?" She runs out of breath and smiles widely at me breathing in deeply.
"I'm good, it was fine. The girls are in the truck, sleeping. How about you tell me what the hell that is?" I point to the building behind her.
"This is the clubhouse." She says it like it's the most obvious thing.
"And?"
"This is the clubhouse of The Devil's Horsemen MC."
"MC? Do you mean a motorcycle club?" I look at her.
"Kinda."
"What the hell do you mean kinda? It's a yes or no question, Sam. Did you invite me to a biker club?" I start to raise my voice.
"Nova, please."
"Explain now."
"When I went to college met a guy. Jameson, we started to hang out and then date. He told me how his best friend was in the MC and how he was supposed to take over the VP position. I was already so loved so I accepted him and this life. We had our first kid when I was nineteen, and then our second a year later."
She takes a second to breathe.
"I found out I was pregnant a few days ago and I had a panic attack realizing you had no idea about any of this. Jameson has known about you and always pressured me to tell you but I didn't want to tell you about the club and have you risk your little girls."
She was now crying.
"Calm down, Sam. Am I mad that you haven't said anything? Yes, a little. Can I get over it? Yes. Am I shocked you joined a biker gang? Yes." I told her and she calmed down.
"How bout you help me get the girls out and you can introduce us." She wiped away her tears and nodded. "I'll grab them you take the backpacks and can get the door."
I opened the back door on the driver's side. I grab Luna out and she wakes up a little.
"Hey, sweetie time to wake up." She rubs her eyes and I hand Sam her bag and grab Luna out of her car seat.
I walk over to the other side and unbuckle Mina. I grab her out and let Sam grab the frozen backpack.
Sam leads us toward the building. The music gets louder the closer we get. Sam opens the door and the music is deafening.
"Keep close to me." She yells over the music. I nod and she walks over to a booth in the corner of the room. The large building is set up like a bar. I see a staircase in another corner of the room.
I stand out of the booth and she leans over to the man at the edge of the booth. She tells something to him and he stands up.
"Shut the hell up!" He barks out in a loud voice that startles Luna. I bounce her a little and she calms down. The music is immediately turned down and the conversations are limited to a few whispers.
"Baby this is my sister and her girls." Sam sits in the lap of the man that yelled. He has brown hair that's styled messy, brown eyes like Sam, and tattoos on his hands. He has a black leather jacket like almost everyone in this place. His jacket has a few patches around it, one has VP and another has Hammer embroidered on it.
"Nova this is my husband Jameson, his road name is Hammer though."
"So should I call you Hammer?" I ask not fully understanding the rules of bikers.
"No we're family call me Jameson." He tells me and I nod.
"Nova this is the President, Bear." Sam points to the guy in the middle of the booth. He has black hair cut into a mohawk, paired with brown eyes. His shoulders are wide, and his head is kept up high. His jacket is the same as Jameson's but with President and Bear in replacement. He gives me a curt nod and I do the same.
"Then Reaper." The man on the side of the booth. He nods to me and I nod at him. He has dark brown hair and blue eyes. He has tattoos up his neck and down his hands. His jacket says Reaper and Enforcer. His knuckles are currently red and bruised. His shoulders are wide, wider than the other men in the booth. He obviously has muscles hidden under the leather and jeans.
"He's the enforcer." I nod to Sam. "Bear has an old lady but she's out right now so I'll introduce you guys later. Guys this is my sister Nova and her little angels Mina and Luna."
"Nice to meet you all." I give them a small smile. "Where are your kids?" I ask Sam wanting to meet my niece and nephew.
"Nap time." I nod in understanding as my two kids sleep in my arms still. Working at a gym and being a single mom for 4 years definitely paid off.
"Nova, Bear is letting you guys stay here in one of the larger rooms."
"Thank you." I look at the guy in the middle again who once again nods.
"Nova come with me and we can drop off the girls." Sam stands up and grabs the frozen backpacks and takes me to the staircase I saw.
"All of the apartments are upstairs, some of them like the high-rank members and yours have bathrooms. I'll give you a tour downstairs when we're done."
She brings me to a room that was obviously set up for me. The room was plain but had a small bunkbed set up in the corner.
"It's not much for now but I know you will probably try to move out in a week."
"Well thank you, Sam. Besides it probably won't be a week, I still need to find a job."
"Well, when that happens let me know so I can get to know my nieces." She looks at the girls in my arm lovingly.
"How bout you help move some of our stuff in the girls should be up by then." I move towards the large bed that's for me and set the girls on it not wanting them to wake up in the bunk bed and fall off.
We work together and get most of my stuff out of my truck. We left the house stuff inside for me to find a place to store it.
The girls woke up and so did Sam's kids.
