"You guys I'm serious I don't miss Y/n!" Olivia states irritated. It seemed like every time she was with her friends her ex-girlfriend would randomly be brought up and she was tired of it. "Look we love you Olivia and we're just trying to look out for you," Conan says with a warm smile. Iris nods in agreement.
"We just think you need to move on- I mean you haven't been to any award shows since the break up and we know you still stalk her Instagram," Jenna says raising her eyebrows. "Okay, okay if I go to the Oscars after-party with you, Jenna will you guys drop it?" Jenna, Conan, and Iris all smile and nod in agreement.

Olivia and Jenna made it to the Oscars after-party and thankfully, they hadn't spotted Y/n there. "Jenna come with me to the bathroom" Olivia pleaded shaking the short girl's shoulders. "I don't want to be in there by myself"

Olivia walks out of the bathroom stall looking in the mirror to check if her makeup was messed up while Jenna was waiting by the door with her arms crossed. "Jesus Olivia comes on," she says impatiently grabbing the taller girl's hand and leading her outside where everyone else was.
Olivia was talking to Billie about her upcoming projects and Jenna was just staring at the girl admiring her beauty. They were having a good time believe it or not. Well, they were until Y/n spotted a familiar girl walk in with another familiar brunette. Y/n and her girlfriend Hailee.
"Oh shitttt," Billie and Jenna say at the same time. "Look Olivia just ignore her, okay? Obviously, it's not going to be easy because the ex-girlfriend you haven't seen in months is now dating Hailee fucking Steinfeld but just pretend she's not here." Billie says clapping her hands together nodding.
All Olivia can do is think about kissing Y/N's pink plump lips. The lips she hasn't touched in 4 months. She knows Y/n has on that vanilla perfume and chapstick that always made Olivia go crazy.
-flashback 4 months earlier the day after the breakup-
Olivia and Y/n had just broken up and Jenna and Conan came over to cheer her up. She had to pretend she was okay like it didn't affect her because she knew she would break down at any moment and she didn't want her friends to see her like that.
"Soooo, how have you been?" Conan says breaking the awkward silence in the room. They hadn't said a word to each other since Conan and Jenna got there they just watched Olivia cook dinner in the kitchen.
"Guys, you can go home I'm honestly perfectly fine." she turns around with a tight-lipped smile plastered on her face. Jenna and Conan just share a look. They know she's lying so they don't leave they go and sit on the couch until she's ready to talk.
-flashback 3 months before the Oscar party-

Olivia had been at the party for 3 hours. 2 of those hours have just been her stealing glances at Y/n without her friends noticing. She hated it. She hated her. She knew it wasn't Hailee's fault but she couldn't help it.
Hailee was holding Y/n so lovingly and she was looking at her like Y/n was the only person in the world. She regretted not treating Y/n like that.
Y/n deserved someone like Hailee. No matter how much she pretended she didn't miss her ex-girlfriend or how much she pretended she didn't care, she always thought about the younger girl. She wished Y/n was there with her.
