Weeks had passed since I started working on the brass knuckles for Fuyuhiko. Soon enough it had become Valentine's day.

Just my luck.

He's much more violent on Valentine's day.

I woke up groggily to my phone vibrating and my alarm going off. I sighed softly to myself and rubbed my eyes as I looked at the date on my phone after waking up.

February 14th.

The worst day for me every year, not just because I'm single but because my dad is single and he HATES that.

And he takes that hate out on me.

Every year

without fail.

I quickly put on my bright yellow jumpsuit and grabbed my phone and backpack, making sure to tiptoe down the stairs.

But alas, I was not quick enough.

My dad lunged at me, slamming a beer bottle at my gut. I screamed out in pain, clenching my stomach.

shit. that hurt like a motherfucker.

I b-lined for the door, making sure not to stop even for a second, in fear that he would catch me.

Happy fucking Valentine's Day to me I guess.

Soon enough I reached the school, my pain in my gut seeming to go away as I neared closer. Up ahead I spotted the blonde who has been on my mind recently:
Fuyuhiko.

Fuyuhiko's POV
I walked towards the school explaining to Peko about what happened to her last cookie.

"I promise it wasn't me who ate it Peko," I fibbed. Peko just rolled her eyes at me.

"Yeah, like I believe that young master," she said sarcastically. I had never heard her be so sarcastic before. She definitely did not learn that from Ibuki.

"What can I say I just really like co-" I grunted as I was interrupted by a weight on my back.

"HEY FUYUHIKOOOO!!" Kazuichi yelled out at me.

Holy shit that scared me.

I just nodded back at him and quietly asked if he could get off my back. He obliged and smiled at me.

"Happy Valentine's day!" he exclaimed, his smile growing even wider.

weird. he was not usually this... idk.

I kept my suspicions to myself and told him happy valentine's day back.

Soon enough Ibuki joined our little group and we four walked into class together, not expecting what was yet to come.
