Episode 43: Hell's Annual Ball

At the Magne family manor, The Hazbin Crew: Charlie, Vaggie, Phoenix, Momoko, Conan, Grace, Zǐ Māo, and Kyuubi the little fox are at the mansion and getting ready for the ball tonight. Of course, the girls are in one room and the boys are in the other. In the girls' dressing room, the girls are getting ready for the ball tonight, putting on their dresses and accessories, putting some makeup on their faces, and making themselves look beautiful and presentable. Soon, Momiji walks in the room to check on the girls.

"Hello girls, are you all doing it?" Momiji asks.

"We're doing good mom. We're still trying to get ready for tonight," Phoenix says.

"I am so excited for tonight," Charlie happily says, and hugs Vaggie, "I hope I can dance with you tonight."

Vaggie giggles, "Sure, hon."

"I'm also very nervous, especially with being in front of all these people. I mean demons." Momoko says, nervously and shaking like a leaf.

"It's alright, Momo. You're not the ones who're going to end up with all the attention," Phoenix says.

She then sighs and says, "I'm still not sure if I'm ready for this."

"Still nervous about this?" Charlie asks.

"Yes," Phoenix answers, bluntly.

"I know you're feeling uneasy about presenting yourself to the party, and having the news know about it. But I promise, you'll be fine, so no need to worry," Charlie says.

"I hope so. The only good thing that's going to come out of it is that a few of my friends are going to be there, including you guys," Phoenix says.

"Like who?" Momoko asks.

"Well, I gotta introduce you to Aquamarina and Coral, Octavia and her family, Angel said that Cherri is coming too. Stolas even let me know that Loona, Blitz, Moxxie and Millie are coming. Even Kuroi and his family," Phoenix explains.

"Kuroi?" Momoko replies, confused.

"Kuroi is a Tengu demon I've met. Well, he actually saved me more times than I can remember. He even took me to his family's restaurant. It was really sweet of him. I even met little Miu, she's adorable, and his parents are nice, despite being demons," Phoenix explains.

She then smiles with her cheeks blushing a bit, "I... I really hope I get to see him there. Maybe he can ask me to dance at the ball."

"Oh, so you're hoping Kuroi will ask you to dance, huh?" Vaggie questions with a calm smile on her face and her arms are crossed.

Phoenix blushes more and says, "I uh, well, I was hoping, I mean that I..."

Charlie and Vaggie giggle.

Momoko smiles and says, "Phoenix, I didn't know you were seeing someone."

"Well, kind of," Phoenix says, embarrassed.

"Kind of, you two practically text each other almost every day, and Kuroi is always checking how you're doing. Not to mention he comes by to help you every now and then. And he has managed to rescue you like a few times," Grace explains.

"I suppose so," Phoenix says, very embarrassed. "Besides, I don't even know if I'm going to be able to deal with so many demons wanting to see me. I can expect that so many will huddle at me asking me so many questions, and who knows what. I might not be able to even see him."

"Don't worry, I'm sure you'll have a good time at the ball," Grace says.

"And we'll make sure you have time to be with Kuroi. After all, we're friends, and we help each other," Momoko says.
