:" Paris!-Paris !- Paris!" she quickly jumped up out her sleep hearing her mother call her name.
Now of days sleep wasn't even peaceful, staying up all night and restless. She didn't understand what was going on, she just knew this wasn't like her.
" COMING" she was tired of being tired. Tired of not feeling a connection with her body, tired of looking in the mirror and not liking or knowing the person she was seeing.
"I have company coming over, I need you find something to do okay?" She scrunched up her face not understanding why she had to Leave her home just for guest to come.
"okay" she was just a teenager girl, going through life and sadly she was in the depression stage that it seem like no one could escape or skip.
The once happy home was just a house. Death broke it and sickness.
family wasn't even family no more. They world wasn't even real no more, she couldn't adjust to it, she felt kicked out of earth the way people were living like zombies without realizing it.
She jogged up the steps getting ready and grabbing everything she needed too. After the passing of her brother she stop going outside, he was her protector and best friend, she wasn't always quiet but tragedies mute people.
After getting done she grabbed her phone quickly running out the house screaming " I love you" to her mom.
She looked around on the steps not knowing which direction to take. She hated going left because that's where the mean kids stayed but right is where the street light is decorated with teddy bears for her brother.
A Car accident took him away just before he could make it home.
"why you have to do this to me" she mumbled underneath her breath deciding to go left. She knew kids, teenagers, grown up, drug dealers and everyone would be outside on this sunny breeze Saturday.
Nine time out of ten someone was cooking on the grill for everyone.
" ARI" she could hear Andrea calling her as she stood by shay and lay.
They were all friends plus a few more females. She felt like they pitted her , didn't understand her and she annoyed them so she distanced herself when whole time they was going be there for her regardless.
Negative thoughts could control a person life and paris seem to let hers do it. She waved at them before continuing walking.
She wasn't sad but she wasn't happy, just empty and she didn't want to be around happy people with that type of energy.
" AYE JUICY, JUICY" she knew whoever was behind her, was calling for her attention. She just decided to ignore him.
"Wait" she felt a pull on her shirt making her turn around to see a lightskin male with a neck tattoo, pop smoke cornrow braids standing by 6ft a cute tiny gap between his teeth with the rest straight. She could tell he meant trouble and annoying .
" yes ?"
" where you going ?" He asked with a smirk.
" to the court" she responded with a tiny mug.
" we will walk withcha we going there too"
" no- she ok Reggie the fuck always being annoying. She don't want you Nigga, burning ass" shay walked in defending her friend.
No matter if she distanced herself, they knew she was going through things. Neither not knowing how to approach the situation without her feeling like they're showing pity.
" shay shut your ass up"
" no shut your broke cheesy ass up" lay said making everyone laugh. Paris stood in the back of the girls awkwardly.
Deciding to finish her walk as the friend group joked and giggled. The boys had to be twenty one plus with her only being seventeen. She could hear them behind her as her being the leader of the line. She missed her brother, walking down the street as his friends followed.
Her thoughts went back to her brother, maybe because he would usually be outside hanging with his friends. He wanted so badly to be like his uncle kamari, wanting power and to sell drugs but reckless driving and lean took him out before he could have that tittle of a businessman.
She love when her auntie Charlie let her visit since her twin daughters was her age but she never had a bond with her mother but Charlie wouldn't dare hold that against her. She was the one spoiling paris and providing her with any and everything she could ever want.

" why you sitting alone?" She looked up from her book to see a grown man, he had to be in his twenties. She kinda thought it was creepy but his looks pulled her in. He was very handsome and smelt so good. " I like being alone"
"No one likes being alone for real" he took a seat beside her sparking up his blunt.
She couldn't tell what he did as a career but he screamed money. The tattoos was nicely done, who ever did it took their time with them. He had locs that were two strand twist, nicely arched eye brows with chocolate skin, nice teeth that you could tell got done from the whiteness but they made them look natural. A dimple on his left check with clear skin.
" well when you get use to not being seen then you would understand"
"Why they don't see you ?" He inhaled the weed waiting on her response. He also checked his surroundings, he was literally the definition of mean. He was so mean that it was a understatement, he probably was number one on the list, beating Lucifer. He wasn't angry he just couldn't control himself and now of days he viewed everyone with a bird brain so he wanted silence.
" you ain't hear me or something?"
" I did, I just don't care to answer" he was taken back by her rudeness when he usually don't give a fuck to even make a conversation with people.
" well fuck you, the fuck" he stood up moving down the bleachers, deciding he wouldn't talk the rest of the game. But he laughed at himself inside his head knowing he do the most sometimes. " I like her" he finished smoking his blunt enjoying the weather. Making plays here and there and telling females to get the fuck out his face. Meanwhile paris stayed in her thoughts but his scent kept her looking down to see if he was still there.
Would they break or make eachother
