Mysterious Guy's POV
"Mom, can I go to the stationery aisle and get some books I've been wanting to buy?"
"Sure hon, be quick"
I raced to the stationery aisle and looked at the huge pile of books. I really loved books.
My name is Leo Singh. I attend high school (11th grade to be exact) with good grades (not straight A's though). I'm half-Australian and half-Indian, which means I have an accent. (yes, very cool.) I have a sister named Lana who is two years older than me. Both of us are pretty close, and I go to her for girl advice. (which is very rare) My parents and us are planning to move to a new apartment so that we're closer to our school. My father mentioned the place being huge, so I have high expectations.
I grabbed a couple of notebooks and hurried back to my mom.
But something stopped me right there. (not literally, haha)
I focused my eyes on a very pretty girl who walked right past me, with who looked like her parents. I could tell she didn't enjoy being here which was very much understandable.
But she made me feel butterflies with her very presence. She had beautiful brown eyes and a blue flowery dress. The dress really complimented her features. I enjoyed watching her hair sway around with her walk. She looked so attractive I wanted to make her mine.
Men might get attracted to women because of looks, but it's the personality that makes them stay. The same applies to me. But this girl...she had a different aura. An adventurous spirit with a kind, observing mind. I already knew I would like her. Correction: love her.
Hoping I would see her again, me, my sister and my parents halted at the seafood aisle which smelled disgusting. I looked around for her and when I found her, I laid my eyes on hers. She had these eyes which really made her look innocent. But I had a gut feeling that her mind went places if she was alone. We guys do that often.
After we were done in the stench of the sea creatures, feeling disappointed that I was leaving her, made our way to the vegetable aisle. My mom took a while there, leaving just enough time for me to scan the area for those innocent-not-so-innocent eyes that I so very much loved.
Unfortunately I couldn't find her. We then made our way to the food aisle, taking a very long time to choose which delicacies we should bring back home. It was quite a process.
While we were deciding, I looked around (again) to find her familiar face.
And I did! This time, however, she was looking directly at me and I could feel my face becoming hot and red. I really hoped she hadn't seen that! How embarrassing.
She finished billing and exited the market. And I was stuck here with a very important decision to make. How nice.
We're going to move to the new apartment next week, so I'm pretty pumped up about that. I really hope I get to see her again.
