As soon as I finished getting ready and ending my breackfast, I started walking towards school. When I got there, I couldn't find anyone I knew. Turns out the class had already started.
"Alright class!" Miss Jones exclaimed .
"Today we are goig to talk about one of the subjects you guys enjoy to talk the most"
While she wrote 'Mhyts and legends' on the board she said
"Okay we all know our histories right? The powerfull and diferent gods and miths people believed in and some still do.
"Ah Miss Sparks your late."
"I know i'm sorry it wont happen again."
I sit down at the only chair available, I sitted next to the boy that catched me when I bumped into him yesterday, he notice's me.
"I never got your name" he says in a friendly way.
"Ellie Sparks, what's yours?"
"Liam, Liam Hood"
"Well, Ellie, nice to meet you" he says smiliing
"Like wise"
Our heads turned to rthe teacher who continued the lesson.
"Most importantly, who can tell me why there were such gods?"
"People needed to believe in something, something grader, something to pray for, to feel save and that every thing was going to be okay, it's what kept them going through their dificulties."Liam answered
"That's right, why do people believe? Because it gives them hope, it gives them a better way to look at the world, the good and the bad" Mrs. Jones said
"Next question. What are the most influent greek gods?"
"Zeus, god of thunder and Hades god of the underworld."I answered
"Very good, now can someone tell me the grate battle that ended the Titans?"
"Titanomachy, due to a prophecy that Cronus son of Zeus would overthrow him." Liam answered
"Very good Liam"
"Okay everybody, pick a partner you're gonna have to do an assessment about corrupted and cruel actions of the gods"
"You can do it with me, I don't think theres anyone left" Liam said in a shy way
"Thank you" I said turning to him
"Why don't we make it about Medusa?" I asked
"That's a good ideia, so we probably should divide it to make it easier" Liam answered
"Yes, but firts were going to start by the origin of the story" I said
We began working on the assessment and I realised that he has good handwriting. The title was "Origin of Medusa" after he finished wtitting the title he notices me still looking at him and he stares back, expective and curious of why am I still watching him. I keep staring not wanting to look embaressed.
There's just something about him that intringues me.
