You were worried sick. Michae hadn't come home that morning. You had called every Pizza Hut in the area asking for him, and to your surprise, none of them had the Michael you were looking for. You realized during this that, despite how close you two were, you didn't even know his last name. I mean, when even is an appropriate time to ask for somebody's last name? Asking just made it kind of awkward. But that's not the point, the point is, you were sure that Michael was dead in a ditch or something. You had even called his house phone, and nobody picked up.

You were on the couch, curled up with a blanket, and about to try to call Michael's house again. You might have cried a little, but c'mon now, this was getting worrying! You had even stayed home from work just in case he decided to come back. You started to dial the number when you heard the front door unlock and quickly swing open.

"Y/N?" Michael called as he walked in. He looked horrible, to say the least. Dark circles, messed up hair, and what looked like tiny scratches on his face. He spotted you on the couch, "Oh, hey, there you are,"

You got up and walked towards him, almost shocked that he could walk in so casually, "What the hell, Michael? Where the hell were you all day?"

"Um," He said. He couldn't think of a lie, so he just said, "Work..."

You raised an eyebrow, "Uh-huh... at work where?"

"Pizza Hut..." He mumbled. He could tell you knew he had lied.

"Really? Which location? Because I called all of them and you weren't at any of them." You crossed your arms. You were starting to get annoyed about his whole lying habit of his.

"Okay, okay, maybe I don't work at Pizza Hut, but that doesn't mean I wasn't at work! I was uh, doing some maintenance work."

You frowned, "How do I even know if you're lying or not? Why would you lie about Pizza Hut if all you're doing is maintenance work, Michael? There has to be something else going on!"

"No!" He said. He was starting to get defensive now, "There's nothing else going on, okay? And even if there was, maybe it's too complicated for you to even understand, so I wouldn't be able to tell you anyways!"

"Michael, you can tell me anything! I'll always be there for you, okay? Just, don't lie anymore, please. And I want to know the name of where you work, just incase I need to find you again."

'"Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rentals," He replied, "That's where I work. More robots. I just didn't want to worry you, y'know, with my past experience working for Fazbear's and all... This is a totally separate company though!"

"Alright..." You said hesitantly, still unsure if you could trust him, "Are you sure there's absolutely nothing going on?"

He nodded, "I just... I needed to put in some extra hours and somehow I lost track of time... I don't know how I managed to do that without passing out, but, whatever. I came home as fast as I could."

Still, this response sounded fishy. You didn't trust it, but you really wanted to believe Michael, so you just went along with it. You didn't like fighting with him. "Okay, okay... I'm sorry I got angry."

Michael shrugged, "No, don't be sorry. I'd be angry too. I'm sorry for worrying you... and not coming home... and lying."

You moved closer to him, putting your hand on his arm, "Just don't do it again, okay?"

He nodded, and pulled you into a tight hug, "Okay. I promise."

"Thank you," You replied. You hugged him back. Now that your anger and shock had passed, you were just glad he was home and not dead on the side of the road.

When you guys finally pulled out of the hug, you looked at each other, and you really got a feel for how tired he must feel. You could see in his eyes that he was stressed out, which made you feel bad about the fight.

"You go shower and rest, okay? I'll make us food and we can eat it on the couch and watch a movie." You smiled warmly at him. He nodded and walked off.

Shutting the door to the bathroom, Michael almost couldn't believe he had gotten away with lying to you again. He knew he wasn't going to be able to not lie to you, and was starting to wonder if a relationship with him would be the best thing for you. Of course, he would do anything for you, and he was pretty sure he was in love with you, but he needed to protect you. What if something happened to him? What if something happened to you? He knew he was causing you stress and it was making him feel guiltier than he already felt.

He took off his shirt and looked in the mirror. His torso and arms were covered in tiny little cuts from the Minireenas. As he looked closer, he was sure he could spot some bite marks. He frowned, finished getting undressed, and got into the shower.

He almost died when the water hit the cuts. They all burned horribly, and it would've been nothing if there were just one or two cuts, but these were all over. It almost felt like he was on fire. He grimaced, and just stood there, praying that they would stop burning. He hoped that soap wouldn't make it worse.

You, on the other hand, were busy putting pizza rolls in the oven. You tried to think of a fun movie to watch. You wanted something that would lighten the mood. You decided to let Michael choose when he got out of the shower.

The two of you sat on the couch, close together and eating your pizza rolls. You had started to look forward to Michael and your's little movie nights. It was a peaceful routine, and you liked being close to your boyfriend. You both leaned up against each other, his arm around your shoulders. You were still feeling iffy about the fight earlier, but you tried to just forget about it.

Michael said he would stop lying, and you hoped everything would go back to normal. But still, you couldn't shake the looming feeling that something horrible was going to happen. You didn't know what it was, but you almost felt like if you let Michael out of your sight, he would disappear again. Maybe it was just your nerves from earlier, and you tried to convince yourself it was, but you couldn't help but worry.

But for now, the two of you were together, and that was enough.
