Seokjin at the age where he kept receiving wedding invitations, but he doesn't want to attend the wedding alone. He needs to find someone. Someone who is not just willing to accompany him, but is comfortable being in the public eye.
They got closer each time they attend the wedding. In fact, no one questioned their pairing when they were first introduced. Its as though they were meant to be from the start. The age gap between Seokjin and Jungkook, is merely just a number. They share the same humor code, interest and they become even more playful with each photo-shoot.

Jungkook also, despite being the youngest in Seokjin's cliques was able to get along well with the rest. Yes, he was starstruck during the initial encounter, but thereafter, he can easily message Yoongi or Namjoon asking for a hangout and they wouldn't mind.
As Seokjin and Jungkook interact almost on daily basis, it just makes it harder for one to visualize them being apart. Basically, they comes in pair. They have been comfortable with this arrangement till someone had to point out what's their real deal.
Namjoon: "Is this like your how many weddings invitations already?"
Seokjin: "No idea Namjoon-ah. I stop counting after we started attending birthday parties too."
Namjoon: "Birthday parties? I thought your deal was for wedding invites only? And who's birthday party you attended Hyung?"
Seokjin: "Somehow during wedding, they invite us for other events too. Btw its Jungkook's brother birthday."
Namjoon: "A family party?"
Seokjin: "Yeah. It was a closed event for family and close friends."
Namjoon: "Hyung. Are you hearing yourself right now?"
Seokjin: "I don't get you. Straight to the point Namjoon-ah."
Namjoon: "You're into deep already, Hyung."
Seokjin: ".....???...."
Namjoon: "Let me spell it out for you Hyung. You're in L-O-V-E with him."
Seokjin: "Am I?"
JK: "Hyung, they still haven't top-up the lobster. So I only took prawns. You ok with prawns?"
Seokjin: "Maybe I am..."
JK: "Maybe? Hmmm.. Let me gently passive aggressively tell the servers to top-up now."
Seokjin: "Why would you do that?"
JK: "Cause I know Hyung likes lobster. I'll get it ok!" and he left.
Seokjin: "I think JK likes me too? Namjoon-ah?"
Namjoon: "Took you so long. Hyung, please do something about it before you regret."
