Right on cue, Percy and Kayla brought out the rings. I had designed mine especially for Will and had it made by the Hephaestus kids, it was a band of gold (regular gold, obviously, the imperial kind is deadly to demigods.) with the words 'My Sunshine' carved on it.

Percy handed Will's ring to me and Kayla handed mine to Will. On Jason's signal, we slipped the rings on to each other's ring fingers. As he put mine, I saw that it was a simple band of platinum, but on it was engraved a sun and a skull, side by side, and my breath hitched. I looked to Will, the tears in his eyes mirroring mine.

When Jason said, 'I now pronounce you husband and husband! You may kiss the groom!' I pulled him down and kissed him, and the crowd burst into applause.

At that moment, Aphrodite and Hera themselves appeared and blessed our marriage by appearing right there and then, as time froze around them and us.

'Your marriage will never be short of faith.' Hera said, floating beside Aphrodite.

'Your love will never runout, it will always be growing.' Aphrodite decreed. Then she shot us a wink and both goddesses disappeared.

When time restarted, a bunch of flowers of different kinds rained down on top of us.

The rest of the wedding was a blur of people, congratulations, and happiness. When we all sat down to eat, Percy called for attention. 'May I have your attention please?'

Everyone paused and fell silent, looking at him. 'I want to first of all congratulate Will and Nico on their wedding. Second, I want to thank Will for bringing back the little boy I used to know. And third,' he turned to Will, 'Solace, you hurt him and you will face my fury.' Welp, he definitely ended with a bang. The guests burst into laughter at his last statement and my dad nodded at him approvingly.

At the end of it all, Mrs. O'Leary shadow-travelled us to Texas, Will's hometown, for our honeymoon. And I can honestly say I've never been happier.
