It wasn't much, but there were a few snack bars laying there (Of your choice) so you didn't starve. You just rationed them for a bit while you waited for the horde to deform and go away. If you had to estimate, might have been maybe three— two days already?

You take a peak down, noticing there were only about four walkers. Luckily enough, they were all scattered. You look towards the house, contemplating taking a look. You decide with a shrug and throw down the ladder silently. You quickly slide down it and drop to the ground, dodging a charging walker and killing it swiftly. The others didn't seem to be alerted so you just snuck by them quietly and leaped through a broken window.

The glass on the floor made a loud crunching noise as your boots stepped over it. Not too loud though apparently since it didn't catch any attention from the dead. Taking a quick glance around, the house was silent. You took that as a good sign. You decide to rummage through the cabinets for any more food, to which you find a bag of chips and smile. Didn't matter if they were stale, still food. You quickly devour them, throwing the empty bag into the trash can that was leaning against a countertop.

There was no upstairs you had to explore so you just checked the rooms. After finding nothing else, you look outside the broken window you came out of before. The walkers were gone by now so you jump out and look around, figuring out which direction you would take.

You end up running straight, trying to mimic what path you had came from a few days ago. It took a lot of running but you finally see a barn come into your vision. Walkers were disbanded and the barn looked to be closed off. You decide to check the building too. Sneaking by and tugging on the door, though it didn't budge. You decide on a stable, to where you slid it open and shut easily. There were dead walkers and a.. you choked on your spit, trying not to throw up. There was a chopped off leg lying there. You took a quick look again, realizing it had to be Clem. As sick as it sounded.

"Clem?! AJ?!" You hear footsteps above. And to your thankfulness, a boy peeked out from above. "Y/n!" AJ slides down the rope and tackles you into a hug. "Hey! Where's Clem?" He motions to above. You nod and start climbing the rope that was there, which led to Clementine. Her severed leg was wrapped with copious amounts of cloth. She smiled happily as you ran to hug her. "What the hell happened to you?" You mutter, looking her over. "My leg." She motions to the severed one, "I got bit. AJ.. did what he could. He saved me." AJ came over, receiving a hand ruffling his hair from her.

He laughed and pushed her away, "How come you're still out here?" You shrug and look outside the window sill. "Got cut off from the other two. Hope they made it to the school by now. Speaking of which, we need to get you back." Clementine nods as AJ looks outside. "Coast is clear enough!" He says proudly, taking the axe and throwing it to the barn's ground. He then looks over at Clem, "How are we going to get her back down?" You wave him off, "I got it kiddo." You hook your arms under her, carrying her bridal style (keeping your hand away from the bloody severed unit) and request AJ to move a hay bale, to which he does so. It wasn't that high of a jump, so you take it. Making it down easily, Clem still holding on tightly to you.

"I can't wait to see Louis again." She mutters, closing her eyes. You chuckle, "And I can't wait to see Mitch again." She nudges you with her elbow, a snicker coming from her. AJ led the few of you. Saying, and I quote; "I know the way there." Clementine raised a brow at him, "A little while ago you said you didn't." He just shrugged and kept walking.

The woods were a lot more quieter which was nice. It was a comfortable silence as you trudged through the woods. "Do you think they'll—" AJ is cut off by a loud gunshot. "You're kidding me!" Clementine shouts. You wince, gritting your teeth as you feel a pain in your stomach. "Why can't you just die?!" The man with medical kit from on the boat a while back stands there, gun in hand. AJ screams as he runs towards him, heaving the axe to the best of his ability down onto the man. The man let out a shout as his stomach tears open. You hear Clementine mutter something and then turn to you. She could probably feel your blood seeping into her jacket. AJ starts having a field day, hacking the man's body to pieces. That was fucking scary. Clementine didn't seem to care though.

You put her down, deciding quickly to use Mitch's jacket to stop the wound from making you bleed out. You wrap it around your stomach, tightly which makes you grimace. You felt bad about using it, but it's what you had at the moment. Hopefully adrenaline will kick in to make it not as painful. You were so close to the school. You could feel it.

"—okay?!" AJ shouts over his shoulder to you. "M' fine!" You grab Clementine again, picking her up. "You're hurt, put me down we can—" You cut her off with a shake of your head. "I'll live. So will you." You start jogging to catch up with the boy a little ahead of you. AJ gestures to keep jogging, so you do as much as you can. Making sure not to tire yourself out.

After a few more minutes and the pain creeping up to you. The school comes into vision. "Willy!" AJ shouts. You notice the boy in the tower you instantly hopped down yelling to everyone else. You jog inside, slowing to a stop to put Clementine down.

"Clementine!" Louis runs and slides to her, hugging her as tears fell down his face. Everyone started running over. You didn't even register being tackled to the ground in a hug. Mitch smiled into the crook of your neck, "Where the fuck have you been?!" You shrug as he kissed your cheek. Though his face dropped as you watched him run a hand over the jacket wrapped around the bleeding wound. It soaked through, it seemed. "Sorry about ruining your jacket." He ignored you, Ruby came over seconds later and helped getting you to your feet. "I don't care about the fucking jacket. You're way more important than it." Mitch says quickly as he helps you limp inside. You smile at him, a little too exhausted to speak now. Louis is right behind you, carrying Clementine in his arms.

Since there wasn't room for the both of you on the couch, you told them to let Clem have it. You resided in Mitch and your's shared room instead. Ruby did everything she could fairly quickly, tending to both of you and having Mitch and Louis help her.

After a few painkillers and bandages, you felt fine. Hopefully Clem did too. You sat up, talking to Tenn. As soon as you were feeling better, he came in quickly and gave you a hug, careful to not accidentally touch anywhere around your wound. Willy had wanted to visit earlier, but Ruby told him to keep Mitch company for the remainder while you got rest. He was going to visit you later anyway so he didn't mind.

Mitch needed a break, he needed to eat and do things since he stayed by you for so long. As much as you love him, he REALLY needed to take a break. And so Tenn joined you instead. He held a picture up to you, one that he must've made not too long ago.

You let out a little laugh as you held it, the picture being you. Knife in one hand, the other hand out in front of Tenn protecting him, and having a yellow aura around you. You almost felt like a superhero. Tenn said you were too, causing you to become just a little embarrassed. He gave you a few more drawings, a certain one catching your eye. Everyone was in that one, you being in front with the caption being 'Best brother ever.' Tenn was a really sweet kid, you couldn't be happier to be in this family.
