Just as it's name suggests, it's a dangerous household, a dukedom filled with corruption and tyranny, their power was equivalent to that of the royalty, the empire had no choice but to join the hands of other 3 duchy's, then the great civil war took place.

He was the main reason for the war, he had 14 wives and 27 childern who fought with eachother till death, he lived his life in pleasure and power, he was not a good father, nor a good leader and he could never be a good husband.

The way to recognise a Perilous is by their eyes, the golden ring around their pupils is a sign of perilous. Perilous obtained this eye by god's blessing, The founder of perilous was a mage that had learnt magic from a dragon and led the war against the demon king, upon his victory the god blessed him with the purest divine power.

The duchy was situated at the east of the Empire with the best supplies and whatsoever. If it was not for the tyranny the Perilous household would have been the wealthiest and the most powerful household of the Empire.

[ Fall of the Perilous household ]

The fall of the Perilous house was successful not only because of the other duchy's joining hands but also because Dameon's son betrayed him, out of 27 childern 16 of them betrayed him, it was because of personal revenge and due to the people suffering under Dameon's rule.

The main contributor of the fall was Dameon's youngest son Ray perilous, after the death of his fiancee/wife he was scared that the competitors of the title would go after his son, he planned the fall of perilous but was betrayed by the soldiers of the royal family, his son ended up missing and is yet to be found.

Though the perilous are not hunted anymore they are seen as a threat, but the members that are still alive, have a considerably heavy title that protects them.

The other survivors such as the mothers live in countryside peacefully with no intervention in the capital.

Though the perilous bloodline was not hunted anymore due to several laws, they were hated and discriminated instead. Which leads us to one question, why were the protection laws for perilous made?

Perilous bloodline is god blessed, each and every individual has always inherited something or the other it doesn't necessarily has to be something physical, it can be for example, greater intelligence!

With such a unique bloodline, laws had to be made for the protection, if they were to go extinct then problems would occur such as, the divine power would be lost and the Empire would loose some powerful assets.

Charlotte, she was a beautiful girl with blond hair and grey eyes, coming from the marquis family she's blessed by the god, a saintess with a pure heart and mind, things had been going extremely well for her, so where did it go wrong?

By his side she was not afraid of death, he loved for who she truly was, she died for him too, she died for their child, she was happy to know that at least her child would see the world, yes it was cruel and unforgiving but she wanted that child to live, the child looked just like her, but his eye and hair colour were that if his father.

He was so beautiful, she would never regret the decision she made, she prayed even at her last breath she prayed to that stone of God to bless her child with a happy life.

This time, the goddess heard her prayers and looked at the child, she blessed him, but there was no happy life without hardships, but it was okay because at the end of the story he would be happy.

Ray loved her, the moment he laid his eyes on her there were butterflies in his stomach, suddenly the title of the duke didn't seem important, but he knew that they wouldn't be together, a 'saintess' could never marry and have a child, perhaps he feared that someone else would take her away from him, or she would run away from him.

He knew she was not happy, she was suffering, yet she smiled, she smiled so brightly, that it pained him to see her cry, he wanted her to be happy and if she were to be affiliated with the church then that wouldn't happen, with the help of his elder brother he made a plan, she was a fake saintess from the start they just made everyone aware of the truth.

When she was at her lowest, he appeared to save her, to protect her, that was when she happily jumped into his arms, he comforted her, protected her, and slowly made her fall in love with him, they had a child, she was pregnant he was happy, they would be the best parents in the world, but that dream shattered on the day his son was born.

He does not blame his son, he knows it's not his son's fault, these monsters in the mansion poisoned her, she would not survive the birth, but even if she did abort the baby the best she could live on was for merely two years, she made a decision, she would give birth to the baby, and that's what she did.

She did not want Ray to be alone, she wished that if not her someone else would stay by his side and comfort him, calm him, she would be more than happy if it was her child, just like how Ray wished for Charlotte's happiness, she too wished for his happiness.
