chapter 7: a new school

It was a new day for the group, as they were walking through a tunnel to haven.

The city of mistral, Qrow said

Ugh, it's about time, Nora said.

Nick was up front with his katana drawn out.

Who's idea was it to walk again? Nora asked.

Well we did face many obstacles, broken airships, broken settlements, ren said.

Oh and you know all those people and monsters try to murder us, Jaune said.

We were fine, only one of us almost died, Ruby said.

She's got a point, we made it this far, no turning back, Aniki said.

So how much farther to Haven academy? Jaune asked.

Almost there, but I figured I'd take you kids on the scenic route, Qrow said.

Gross, Cassidy, you still have Tyrian's tail? Nairi said.

Yeah, Catie might use the poison in her tonics, Cassidy said.

Hey, I see a door! Nick said.

He then ran to it and opened it to reveal the glorious view.

Wow! This... is... awesome! Ruby said.

I know, I might be able to follow up on my internal training, Nick said.

They soon explored the streets. They had lots of things, weapons, food, and possibly illegal items. But they weren't on a shopping spree, they were heading up to get to the academy.

As they reached it, it was amazing. Luxury looking buildings, cut grass, it was breathtaking. But Cassidy was more excited to be at one.

I- i 've never been to an Academy before, i-i feel like a kid! She said.

Easy on the child reaction, we need to fill ourselves in, Nick said.

They then walked through the halls of the academy in search of the headmaster, though it was quiet.

Huh i don't see or hear anyone, Nairi said.

Yeah, it doesn't seem to be anyone here, Ren said.

Well, I guess school isn't really in session right now, maybe that's it, Jaune said.

No this isn't right, come on! Qrow said.

Don't leave us! Nick said as they followed him.

They then reached the master office doors to where Qrow armed himself.

Get ready, there could be trouble, Qrow said as everyone armed themselves.

He then kicked the door open to reveal the headmaster who was frightened by their entrance.

Just then Qrow fell off balance and fell, where the headmaster fainted.

That just happened, Aniki said.

Uh, professor lionheart? Ruby said.

The headmaster then got up from his faint.

Qrow, for crying out loud nearly scared me half to death, lionheart said as Qrow got up.

Me? Why weren't you waiting for us at the entrance? Qrow said.

Lionheart then pulled out his pocket watch to see the time

Oh right, apologies, I guess time slipped away from me, he said.

You're joking, Qrow said.

Where is everybody? Nora asked.
