I Found My Clarity Under Gold Skies (Zedd and Martin Garrix)

Chapter 4

*Ashley's POV*

ZEDD JUST INVITED ME TO GO OUT. I tried my best to talk to him like a normal person and I guess I did it pretty well.

He said that he's going to pick me up at 7 pm today. And it's almost 4. When you are excited for something to happen time seems to pass slowly. Suddenly, my phone rings. It's a message.

(Ashley's bold)

"Hi Ashley. It's Martin."
"Oh hey. How did you get my phone number?"
"I stole Anton's phone for a while and type your phone number on my phone."
"Oh."
"So, do ya want to hang out tonight? :D"
"Sorry but Anton already invited me and I said yes. I'm really sorry :/.
"Oh. Okay. Next time maybe?"
"Sure."
"K. Gotta go. Bye."

I didn't reply.

I took a bath and I realized that I have no idea what I have to wear so I texted Anton.

(Ashley's bold)

"What should I wear for tonight? :)"
"What do u want to wear?"
"Idk. What are u wearing?"
"Can't tell you :D."

Agh. I hate when people do that.

I decided to wear a green dress with black heels and went downstairs. It was 7 and Anton texted me.

(Ashley's bold)

"Hey I'm in the car in front of ur house."
"K. I'll be there in a second."

When I opened the door Anton got out of the car and opened the car door for me. He was wearing a black tuxedo. "You're... So beautiful." He said looking at me.

I blushed. "Thanks. You look handsome." I saw him smile a little. I got into the car and Anton started driving. "Where are we going?" I asked curiously.

"You'll see in a minute." God, I hate when people do this. He turned on the radio and Clarity started playing. Anton smiled and we started singing and laughing. "IF OUR LOOOOOVE IS TRAGEDY WHY ARE YOU MY CLARITY?" We sang the last part and we laughed until we arrive at the restaurant. A very fancy restaurant. He got out and opened the car door for me.

"Ma'am, we're here." Anton said with a smile on his face. He offered me his arm and we entered the restaurant.

We sat down in a table and Anton ordered the food. "Ash, I have to tell you something..." He said nervously. "Since the first time I saw you, I fell in love with you and I couldn't stop thinking about you the whole set and I was so excited after the show for you to come backstage. I know we met yesterday but I really like you and..."

"Wow calm down dude I don't want you to die from a heart attack." He was speaking so fast that I barely could understand. "Huh, Anton don't you think that's too early for a relationship? You barely know me. Let's get to know each other better first okay?"

Anton looked at me with a sad face. "Yeah, you are right. I don't know you so well and you might don't know some things about me since most part of my life is public and you're a big fan. Well, I don't think I should call you a fan anymore. We're friends now. Aren't we?" He smiled.

I smiled back to him trying not to fangirl. "Sure!" Oh my God. Zedd just said I'm his friend and he has a crush on me. I dreamt about this a few times but this is actually happening.

It was completely silent for a few seconds but then the food arrived. We ate in silence and Anton payed for the dinner. The way back to my house was silent until I broke it. "Hey, why are you so upset?"

"Nothing." He said looking at the street. "You can tell me if you want." I put my hand on his when the traffic light turned red. "Nothing important." The traffic light turned green and a few minutes later we arrived at my house.

"We're here." He announced. "I really liked going out with you. But before you go I need to do something."

Anton got closer and closer that I could listen to his heart beating fast. His lips touched mine and I felt butterflies. He let go with a shy smile on his face. "Sorry for all the weirdness." He looked down. "But I like you so much and I really really want to be with you. I understand that we don't know each other..." He cut himself off.

"Anton..." I had no words. He kissed me. Anton Zaslavski kissed me. "Sorry about the kiss." He started walking off. "ANTON, WAIT!" I shouted and he got into the car and drove off. I just stood there. Looking at nothing. And crying.
