Am I the only one that would dream about falling, and when you were close to the ground, you would wake up? I remember having these quite often when I was younger. It would start with me laying in my little brother's bed, and it slowly rising up. So it stood vertical. And then I would fall. I wouldn't fall for that long, maybe about 5 seconds and then I would wake up.
I have heard people say that when you dream about falling it means that the angels dropped you when carrying you up to heaven. But I have also heard that it was the devil trying to get you to hell or something (?)
Google said: "Dreaming about falling tends to signify a loss of control over an important situation. It also indicates fear, terror, and anxiety that comes out of losing grip over significant things."
I tried to see that Google would say if I asked in my native language. It roughly said: "Dreams of falling from, for example, a high-rise building or a cliff will often be a symbol that you have taken a chance in your life and now fear the risks associated with it. Falling dreams can also be a sign that you are stressed and have lost control."
