Bruce sighed as he seemed bored at the party Alfred had hosted for him.
Bruce kinda guessed what it was for though,even though Alfred didn't say it.
He needed to settle down and get married.
But what if they died?
Or got hurt?
Or permanently disabled?
He thought as he remembered all of the batfamily that had gotten hurt, died or permanently injured by the Joker or other villains.
He then saw a woman approach him,She had light ginger hair,blue eyes,pale skin and freckles.
Hello! She said with a kind smile.
Hello I'm Bruce Wayne. Bruce introduced.
The girl hesitated for a moment as if she was afraid of revealing something.
I'm Jennifer. She introduced as the two shook hands.
Bruce looked up at her as they locked eyes,something was.. familiar but he wasn't quite sure what.
Would you like to dance? She asked.
He nodded.
The two then began to dance in a waltz together.
Have we met before? He asked Jeniffer who seemed to avoid his gaze.
Maybe in some other life. She said jokingly.
Bruce nodded accepting her answer for now.
He looked back up at Jennifer's eyes and then looked back down blushing a bit.
Are you alright? She asked.
I'm fine. Bruce said.
Jennifer sighed then smiled at him as she put a kiss on his lips.
Bruce was surprised for a moment but accepted the kiss.
And it actually felt..rather nice.
He noticed Alfred smiling at this and smiled back.
Then it was as if a spark lit his heart,when she smiled at him.
Was he in love?
