"Have you realized it already?" A familiar voice asked her. She turned around and saw Nam standing behind her.

"P'nam?"

Nam walked towards her and pulled out the necklace from her shirt, which caught Rebecca off guard. "What are you doing?!" She asked before putting back the necklace inside her shirt.

"I thought you already realized why you're here." Nam said. Rebecca looked at her. Clearly, this isn't the Nam that she used to know, even in the future. "Who are you? You are not the P'nam that I knew, aren't you?"

The Nam in front of her just smiled at her coldly. "Who's to know if I'm Nam or not? I'm here to help you get your love back."

"What do you mean?"

"For the past three years, you've been suffering. You were suffering from the guilt and grief that was brought by her death." Nam explained. "I'm giving you a chance to get her back."

"But if I change the past, then that means that I will also change the future that I know, right?"

"Exactly."

"So why? Why would you want to help me? Why did you even bring me here knowing that I might mess up the future?" Rebecca asked.

"Because it's your wish." Nam replied.

"My wi-" She stopped when she remembered the night before she woke up in the past. "I wish I can turn back the time."

"But,"

"You only have limited time. You have the freedom to change what you think needs to change in order for Freen not to die in the future."

"And if I fail? What if I changed the wrong part of history?"

"Freen will still die. Or worst, it will be you who will die in the end."

----

"Freen!"

Freen who was busy feeding one of the kids at the orphanage, looked back. "I brought some food." Heng said as he placed the plastic bag full of different kinds of food on the table. The kids run towards them out of curiosity. "Wow!" the kids exclaimed. "Phi, can we have some?" "Go on, take what you want." Heng said. The kids then get the snacks that they want.

"Why are you here?" Freen asked as she took out an ice cream that was left in the plastic bag that Heng brought. "I have a job for you." He said looking around before leaning towards her. "This one is bigger than the previous ones that you have previously done."

"What about the pay?" Freen asked. "The client said they will pay you double if you were able to complete this tonight."

"Text me the details then." Freen said before leaving Heng.

-----
"What do you mean Freen will die again?" Rebecca said as she grabbed Nam's arm. The thought of seeing her girlfriend die again before her eyes feels like her heart is being ripped apart.

"Becky!"

Both her and Nam looked back and saw Tee standing there. "What are you doing with Nam?" Tee asked.

"Nothing." She replied as she tried to compose herself, Nam on the other hand is now back to the Nam that she used to know, which really fascinates her. "What are you doing here?" Rebecca asked.

"I've been looking for the two of you because we have a meeting in 10 minutes." Tee replied. "Okay. I'll go down now."

"Hey, are you sure Becky didn't do anything to you?" Tee whispered to Nam as the two of them followed her. "Yes. Don't worry." Nam said.

The three of them entered the meeting room. Rebecca immediately noticed what's being flashed on the screen. It was the cctv footage of the series of robberies that's that happened in the past few weeks. She immediately knew where this is going. She looked at Nam but she looked like she doesn't know anything and listened intently as their superior explained to them about the robberies.

"Who are you really?" She thought to herself as looked at Nam.

Chapter Epilogue

2017

Freen was on her way to the orphanage when she noticed a girl walking absentmindedly and was about to cross the street.

"Hey, watch out!" She said as she pulled her before the girl could be hit by the passing car.

"Are you okay?" She asked but the girl looked at her blankly. "Yes."

"You don't seem well." Freen said still holding the girl, fearing that she might fell if she let her go. As she had expected, the girl lost her consciousness in her arms.

"Miss!" She called but the girl isn't responding. She touched her forehead and noticed that the girl was burning in fever.

Freen carried her to the nearby clinic to have her checked. She stayed until the doctors said that her fever is down. It was then that she got a good look at the girl's face.

She has a sweet angelic face. It's the most beautiful face that she has ever seen in her life. She noticed the strand of hair on her face. Her hand automatically moved but she stopped midway, for fear that she might wake her up.

It was then that her phone rang. "Hello?"

"Where are you?" The voice said on the other line.

"I'm on my way to the orphanage." Freen said before glancing at the girl one last time.
