I Will Find You (Again)

Chapter 6

Rebecca cleared her throat and pushed Freen back. Freen just gave her a smirk.

"What do you mean that you have questions for me?" She said. "I should be the one to tell you that." Rebecca said, even though she already has an idea about the question that Freen will ask her.

Freen raised her eyebrow. "This girl is really something." She thought. "If you don't have anything to say, I have to get going." Rebecca said before turning her back to Freen.

"One day, I will still ask you my questions." Freen shouted as Rebecca walks away. She knew that day will still have to come and that she will have to answer Freen after what happened last night.

"Sorry, you can't see our boss right now." The secretary said to Heng as he came directly to their client's office.

"Tell him, I need to speak with him about last night." Heng said. "He is currently in a meeting right now, he won't be able to see y-" But before the secretary could finish, Heng has barged in to his office.

"Mr. Pinitkanjanapun, what brought you here?"

"I'm sorry sir, I tried stopping him but he suddenly barged in." the secretary said. "It's alright. May I ask all of you to leave the two of us so we can talk?"
Heng waited until everyone has left the office before talking.

"Are you the one who called the police when Freen was doing the job that you assigned to her?"

"I thought, it's something urgent that's why you came barging in to my office like that. Is that how you speak with your brother?" Heng scoffed when he heard the word brother. It's true that they are brothers since they have the same mother but he never felt that they're brothers. He was merely his henchman.

"Cut it Saint. Are you or are you not the one who called the police on Freen?"

"And what if I am? Is there anything that you can do about it?" Saint said to his brother.

"Then I will tell everything that you've been doing for the past 10 years. Do you think I don't have enough evidence on your illegal businesses?" Heng said angrily.

"Then go ahead and watch how the people dear to you suffer. The orphanage, your sister, and your dear childhood friend." A fist suddenly landed on Saint's face, making him slightly lose his balance. Saint just wipe off the blood that dripped off from his lips after Heng's punch as he watched his half brother walked out of his office angrily.

Freen was walking along the riverbanks when she saw a familiar face standing beside a parked car.

"Hello, Freen." the woman said

"I'm sorry, but have we met before?" Freen asked. The woman looked strangely familiar to her but she couldn't point out where she met her.

"Maybe." The woman said before walking towards her. "This is your last chance to make things right."

"What do you mean it's my last chance?" Freen asked but the woman disappeared.

Somewhere, on top of one of the highest skyscrapers in Bangkok, two figures are watching from above.

"Do you think, this time, everything will fall into their rightful places?" One of them asked.

"Let's wait and see." the other one answered and then the two of them vanished.
