Hot Coco

It was nothing more than just the middle of the night where everyone was sleeping and no distribution would be heard from anyone around.

Both King Dice and The Devil were both together lying in bed sleeping or well that is except for King Dice. Dice wasn't a person to really sleep sometimes he sleeps yes but most of the time he's caught up with work, costumers, games, and such things he does during his time of business. Of course, usually, his boss tries to get him to at least rest but Dice is the type to be stubborn and still does the things he does.

And of course on this faithful night Dice was yet again not able to sleep so without waking up his boss he carefully got out of bed trying not to wake him up and slipped out going to the kitchen to see if there was anything he could eat or drink maybe, a snack to what it's called.

He looked around the cabinets looking for anything to eat or snack on mainly to snack but realized that he wasn't in the mood to really eat anything in particular. So then he moved on to something to drink whilst looking in the cabinet he found a pack of chocolate that you mix in milk to make hot chocolate or well hot coco whatever floats the boat.

Dice had thought to himself for just a bit 'I'm in the mood for something like this, I could make this.' As he thought that he went to grab the milk in the fridge then grabbed a cup and poured just about enough to where the milk wasn't overfilled but perfect. He then opened the microwave and put it in there to warm up for a minute or so to make it hot and ready.

He started to open the chocolate pack as the seconds were going by fast and before the microwave could beep he carefully opened it and grabbed the now hot milk whilst also closing the microwave and then pouring the coco powder in the milk.

Dice then grabbed a clean spoon and mixed it around till the white milk had turned brown with the scent of chocolate coursing through the air. He sighed softly as he took a sip of the coco in hand and then gently put it down.

As he did Dice heard footsteps coming toward him and he turned around to see that it was his boss that he was looking at.

The Devil rubbed his eyes and yawned a bit then took some more steps to be in front of Dice as he softly said,

"What are you up to?"

Dice chuckled softly as he showed him the cup of coco taking a small sip saying

"Nothing much dear, just made myself a hot chocolate."

His boss laughed saying

"Hah, in the middle of spring?"

"Oh, hush now hot chocolate does not define what season you can drink it in."

Dice chuckled at his boss's silliness as The Devil chuckled alongside with him and rubbed his finger on The Devil's cheek rubbing it as the Devil leaned in on the touch of his manager.

The Devil spoke breaking some of the silence they indored but it wasnt an awkward silence but a comforting one,

"You know I was a bit worried about you leaving the bed."

"You were worried that I wasn't asleep?"

"Well yes, I want you to get rest you overwork yourself when you know that you don't have to do that. Dice you've done enough, please. Don't be overworking yourself anymore."
