You Were My Best Friend

Day one.

6am I was woken up by the birds from outside my window, nothing Cinderella would have just some crazy loud bird who wanted to let everyone know that it was around. I looked over to where Lou was, she was still sound asleep her hair spread on her pillow as she lay in her back. Her fringe was parted in half. Slowly grabbing my wash stuff I made my way slowly out of our room, down the long corridor of rooms to finally where the bathroom was on our floor. No one was up yet so the place was still quiet. I caught my sight in the mirror. I didn't look bad. I mean I never look bad in the morning, my hair was still tamed in a nice bum on my head and my striped pink pyjamas hung on my body, they were so comfortable. My collar bones were slightly visible, I wanted them to by the most obvious thing and the first thing people saw.

I mean I'm insecure about some parts of my body I mean isn't everyone. Specially when I'm with Lou and Lils. Lou went to free gym with her mum, Lils just dieted. I didn't have time for that I had control over what I ate, I had Ballet 3x a week, yoga on the days I didn't have ballet. Sometimes it got a little overwhelming.

Once I was done in the shower I wrapped my towel around myself and made my way back to my room.
"Hey where were you?" I looked to find Lou sitting up on her bed and looking at me with tired eyes, after all it was 6:30am.
"Oh I just showered y'know to start the day, besides the birds thought it was time for me to rise." I finished with a chuckle. Places everything back where they belonged I got my cream and started moisturising.
"Yeah I thought I heard you leave, btw you do know breakfast isn't until 8am right?" Oh shoot I forgot j thought it was going to be at 7:30.
"Yeah I totally knew that, that's why I woke up so early on purpose." Rolling my eyes I put my cream away and got dressed into our school uniform, the cream dress. Boys wore suits my year wore ties and the the years above wore bow ties. Sean looked amazing in his bow tie, his hair just worked with the dark navy blue suit.
"What do you think, should I wear my hair up or down?" I looked at her face I personally thought for school it would be wise to wear hair up but I'm just old fashioned.

"Umh down but in a really nice way." We talked for an hour and a half about how what to expect and how cute the boys were all of that. Until we decided to make our way to breakfast.
"What do you think about Chloe?" Chloe, well I didn't have a problem with her but she just seemed to out there and full of herself.
"Chloe well I don't know her enough to say." I said looking down at our feet as we walked. There was a pause. Until we heard laughter coming from behind us, talk about red head and she shall appear. she was with her friends Amy and Anna the two twins. The desirable twins they were apparently called. Their brown hair slim figures were killers. They had nice olive skin.
"I love how like you and Sean spoon each other and whisper in each other's ear, it's like the cutest thing ever." said Amy, causing them all to giggle as they walked past us, I resisted the urge to stick my foot out at her.
"I know, he always tells me how he loves how small my waist is and how small I am." Chloe was perfect she knew it, we all knew it.
"God I can't stand her she is so full of herself, she knows boys love her and they literally worship she ground she walks in. She makes it her mission to let everyone know that she is the girl to be and to look like. Apparently last year.." I blocked her out after that. No wonder he stopped talking to me, he would never come around anymore or play with Lilly and I. Lils didn't mind tho I don't think she loved it. He loves the way she is so small and good to spoon because she is so small. I want to be so small. "..And she threw a tantrum and walked of the shoot stomping her feet in process. Mum closed her contract so she never got a big shot at vogue again." I laughed along with her but in reality I don't even know why we were laughing.

Breakfast was adventures, Lou, Lilly and I all had fruit and water. The League boys sat with us again we became like quick friends. During breakfast I couldn't stop my eyes from wondering over to where Chloe was seated on Sean's lap laughing and his arm around her waist. I was jealous over the fact that she got to spend time with Sean, he was supposed to be my best friend.
All of My year were given an extra tour of the school, where I was placed with an extremely hot teacher who got my eyes wherever he went. His dark features were beautiful. I think he and I had a connection one would say and so did all the girls. I later discovered he was my Art teacher, he could paint me anytime he wanted. After our little guide we went to our first lessons and mine was chemistry which was over at the senior area. Making my way alone I was met half way by Leo one of the league boys, turns out we were the only two from our "group" who were in advanced chemistry, I would never peg Leo as the clever type. I always saw him as this jock. He had the jocky type of attitude and his Curly hair was just so adorable along his dimples. He was really shy, but really tall and well built. We walked and talked just as we were about to go through the chemistry department I caught sight of that familiar Blonde hair. Almost as if he could feel my presence he turned his head and faced me. I couldn't help but grin and wave at him. He nodded and turned away lowering his head as Chloe whispered something in his ear, he threw his head back and laughed he slowly lowered it again shaking his head and grabbing Chloe's hand. It was like someone punched me in the gut. Turning my head I headed inside the classroom.
"Hey you okay Layla" I looked at where the voice belonged and there was Leo, I smiled slowly at him and nodded.
"Yeah I'm good." he didn't look convinced but just nodded and looked away. Sighing i distracted myself by paying so much attention then I was lost in the world of chemistry and for the rest of the day I didn't see Sean, not even at lunch mostly because I didn't go and decided to just do some revision.
