Ok so we are in ep 3 of the anime, hence the title.

Unlike most days, you woke up early and were anxiously pacing about the room.

"Kyu-Nii said that my stuff would be delivered today..."

You realized that you woke up and didn't do anything. Didn't brush your teeth, or even check your phone!

You brushed your teeth and put on a random hoodie you packed and went downstairs.

You saw Miri dancing near Rei who was asleep on the couch.

"I didn't know he had many late night missions too..."

"Wake up wake up!" Miri sang.

Rei groaned.

I walked over to Kazuki who was preparing breakfast.

He smiled and said, "Good Morning Yuki!"

I smiled and said, "Morning!Whats for breakfast?"

He smiled sheepishly and pointed to a chocolate cereal box. I raised an eyebrow.

"Too tired to make breakfast? I can make it if you-"

He cut you off. "No no... Miri wanted this for breakfast."

You smiled and nodded.

You looked over at Miri and Rei. The she jumped on his... yea...

You widened your eyes and saw Rei curl up in pain. "Damn... poor Rei." You said.

"Bullseye." You heard Kazuki mutter. You stifled a laugh.

-Breakfast-

You took a seat next to Rei, who was sitting across from Kazuki.

"Rei, you guys are... lagging behind?" You asked him.

He looked down and nodded.

He turned to Kazuki and asked, "What is this?" Pointing to the cereal.

Kazuki replied, " It's what Miri wants. Kids am I right?"

Rei took a bite and started scarfing it down.

"You two..." Kazuki said.

You chuckled.

"Anyways... I'm going to see Kyu-Chan." Kazuki said.

"Mm? Why? Do you have a mission?" You asked.

"No," he replied. "I need to find more about Miri's parentage."

You sighed. "Kazuki... c'mon..."

He shrugged. Just then Miri can and asked, "What is a parentage?"

Kazuki looked at her. She then said, "Ups!" And tried to climb onto Kazuki's chair.

"O-Oi! I'm still eating dammit." He said while she successfully climbed onto his chair.

You rested your hand on your head and smiled at them. Rei noticed you.

"She still looks the same..." He thought.

You quickly looked at Rei and noticed him staring, causing him to look away.

You smiled.

Miri got off the chair and danced in the living room, holding bananas over her head singing, "Banyana Banyana!"

You then remembered that you didn't ask for their numbers.

"Hey before you two go, can I have your numbers?" You asked.

Kazuki nodded and entered his and Rei's numbers in your phone. You smiled.

-Time Skip-

"Okay, we're leaving!" Kazuki said as he opened the front door.

"Take care!" You said as the door closed.

You sighed and plopped down on the couch.

You stared at Rei's games.

"I shouldn't..." You thought.

Victory!

"Yes!" You exclaimed. You checked the time.

2 pm.

"I should probably stop now..." You heard true doorbell ring.

"My stuff!"

You hurried to the door and opened it, after turning off the gaming console, controller and TV.

You took the 3 boxes inside. You didn't ever want to keep too much stuff. Just in case.

You picked up all 3 boxes and carried them upstairs. You were known by the higher ups in the agency for your strength.

You began unpacking.

Hmm they should be back soon...

The doorbell rang. You opened it. It was Kazuki, holding a plastic bag containing groceries, next to him was Rei who was holding Miri. She was sleeping in his arms.

You took the bag from Kazuki, who was taunting Rei by calling him Rei Papa.

You giggled a bit.

You placed the bag on the kitchen counter and unloaded... hamburger steak? Precooked from the store? Odd...

You shrugged and put it in the microwave to heat it up.

-Dinner-

Miri took a bite of the Hamburger steak and squeeled in pleasure. "Much better than Kazuki Papa's!"

He rolled his eyes and saw Rei scarfing his food down.

"You two seriously..." Kazuki said annoyed.

You watched the two and smiled.

You didn't eat the steak, instead you quickly made a couple rice balls.

You stared at Rei.

"He's so childish... cute.."

No one noticed you.

It felt like there was no one in the room besides you and him.

"Oh cmon! It's been 3 years already! How'd I catch feelings so quick?! Maybe because I had them before... and they never left me. They just got buried deep inside my mind..."

Hello! I hope you're enjoying so far! I also noticed a mistake in Backstory Part 2, "A couple weeks before your 18th birthday ". I changed it to 22nd birthday, to give them 4 years.

Cuz Rei is dense.
