5.Route Cause

Hale was a Boy who had a stage 4 cancer. he was gonna die off in about 6 months or so..

he was 15 and couldn't do anything in his life..                                                                                                        

It was 2014...there was a famous youtube channel named "channel-future". it accurately predicted the coming of a.o.t, rick and morty, and a lot of "infomercial" stuff..

the thing is, a 4rth grader kid from his school owns the channel. Hale was suspecting him of using a time machine but it was never proven.
He wanted the time machine to go to the past and locate the "root cause" of his cancer....if he had a time machine.

the kid had a very close circle of friends and doesnt talk much to anyone...and is always brooding over some thing. 

Hale wanted to somehow interact with him and get to know about the secrets of the channel.

He had a master plan. He commented...."I know how you can predict these stuff...I know your "dark" secret..."
it set off a huge chain reaction.

The 4rth grader was confused, rather surprised since he didn't have a dark secret. He removed the comment...but was startled to found that comment was all over his videos....by the same account..

He broke the puny mind of the 4rth grader.....

Hale made his move.....he pulled over the boy...handed him a note and ran off....

it said......"i was the commentor"

they met.

"I have a dark secret that I do not know!?" asked the 4rth grader
Hale replied "I bluffed....you do not have one.....

....I suspect you have a time machine and....if you have one....I want to use it to locate the root cause of my cancer!"

the kid replied "well...I..er...well, i do have it but...I.....ok just come to my house...Ill hand it....I dont mind helping ig.....but-"

"ok, thanks" said Hale, and hugged him.

The kid was double minded.

He went to his house, and after promising he will return it back in one piece....secured it.

Hale was on his way home when he was abducted by two strangers....presumably kidnappers...

Not knowing how to use it, he turned the knob twice to the left and zapped....
zapped to 2012....

not realizing he had time travelled along with the kidnappers, he jumped and made a ran, getting chased by those two men.....

He ran inside a school, hooded and with the time machine, hoping to mingle among the students and to escape from the criminals and crashed into a small kid...

He had safely escaped but couldnt find the time machine.

he was devastated...he had hopes of curing himself and lead a cancer-free life...

he had a stage 4 stomach cancer...

he started breaking down and thought he couldnt change anything....until he met himself!

he met his past self in the cafeteria....strolling around with some seniors...

suddenly, something striked on his mind...Hale was a chainsmoker and that was the day the seniors introduced him to smoking

he rejoiced and couldnt believe himself that he time travelled...

he realized that his smoking habit caused him the cancer and he rushed to him...grabbed himself (lol) and narrated the events which detoriates his life by cancer.

he never smoked that day...and the timeline split into 2.

a timeline where hale gets cancer and dies...and a timeline where he doesnt die.

the time machine had a significant importance.

it was created by a "eccentric scientist" as a desperate attempt to save his son, HALE, dying from cancer.

there was a famous gang who was wiped after an all out gang war. the leader wanted to resurrect the gang, hired hale's father to create a time machine but since his gang could create mayhem...hale's father accept, creating the machine for his son, trapping the leader in the 1980's.

since they worked together, the gang leader had a locator on the machine and located it to 2014.

the gang leader made the 1980 Hale's father create a time machine, tessered to 2014, killed 2014 hale's father for betrayal, sent goons to apprehend the time machine and they found Hale.

now, in one time line...Hale dies of cancer and in the another one...he is stuck in 2012...

He had no idea where he lost the time machine....

Channel Future didnt exist yet.

He suddenly realized that it must have been with the 4rth grader, second grader now.

His mission was to find him. He waited for months...expecting for the founding of "channel future".

soon, it was formed and he was able to identify the kid.

he explained his cause and got the time machine... (I mean, snatching a gadget from a kid ain't that tough!)

he came back to the future, cancer free.

Channel Future wasnt a hit anymore. He was only able to get first few contents....

feeling bad, now it was Hale who gave contents to the kid and rose him up to fame~
