"And there's no way you can get around it?? You don't know how this would turn out for you or Megan and you know she already don't like the bitch." Lauren said as we sat at the booth and smoked a blunt.

"Yeah, and don't the bitch not even like you? Why y'all gotta work together in the first place? Does she wanna work with you or is her label tryna put her on? Hell, why can't you just tell your label you don't wanna work with her because your crazy ass wife will kill that bitch?" I busted out laughing. Di was laying on the couch behind us as we passed the blunt around. I just found it hilarious that she was talking about Megan like she's a deranged ass serial killer.

"Nah but real shit if you can't get out of doing the song with her then you just gotta do it and ask Meg for forgiveness later. You got deadlines to meet, this album gots to be done by Christmas and it's already August and you only got 3 of the 20 songs recorded. Plus, you gotta finish up the album you working on now." Before I could respond Lauren interjected with a loud exasperated laugh.

"Bitch this album coulda been done but noooo, Bey wanna put a heartbreak song on ever damn album." I laughed and punched Lauren in her arm. She ain't lying though but that's not the point. That was the main reason we're in the studio today. I just needed to record this song and get it approved and it was gone be ready for me to release it today.

"Ion even got no ideas for a song." They both groaned as Di put the blunt out. The room was silent for minute until Di gasped like she had an idea then went back into thinking. Just as I was about to speak the studio door opened and in walked Cardi and Normani.

"Heyyy." They both said and they gave out their hugs then sat down on the other couch in the room since Di was stretched out on the other couch.

"Hey yall." I smiled and turned back over to the sound board. Me and Cardi had jus got back on good terms since she finally forgave me for the whole Jayda situation.

"Okay so what yall up to in here?" Cardi pulled out a bag of chips and her and Mani started snacking on them.

"Bey still ain't figured out a heartbreak song." Lauren ate a handful of Cardi's chips. Cardi scrunched up her face then made a thinking face.

"Wait what song is this playing right now." Mani asked as she drank her HUG juice. "It's one of the songs off the album imma be dropping soon. It's called Schoolin' Life." I forgot that I had the songs that are currently on the album playing. I think that weed is getting to me.

"Oh, if the rest of the songs on this album are as good as this song then this shit gone eat down." She said laughing. I chuckled and smiled. "Thanks Mani."

"My thing is, how you gone make a heartbreak song if you not heart broken?" Cardi said with a confused expression. It was like a lightbulb turned on in Lauren's brain. "RECORD THE SONG THAT YOU MADE WHEN YOU AND MEG WAS GOING THROUGH IT!!" I looked at her like she was crazy.

"Lauren, I'm right here, what are you yellin' for?" Di just thought that was the funniest shit ever because she just busted out laughing. This is why I don't deal with crackheads. Cause what are you yelling and laughing for??"

"No wait cause that actually is a good idea." Cardi cosigned. I thought about it for a second. It wasn't a bad idea, I just haven't really opened up much about that time in our relationship.

"Wait do Megan even know about that song?" Mani asked and I shook my head no.

I mean it's a solid idea and all, but I just don't know if I'm ready to relive that time of my life. It was really hard for me. It brought up a lot of insecurities that I had no clue that was buried inside of myself. Not to mention I don't talk about problems in my relationship a lot.
