I was sitting at my usual lunch table waiting for my friends.I kept feeling like someone was staring at me, but when I turned around I didn't see anyone. I shrugged, I guess I was just imagining things.
Soon my friends got to the table. "Hey El! Do you want to go camping with all of us this weekend?" asked Mike, Jessica gave me a dirty look. Mike has been trying to get me to go on a date with him since middle school. He is yet to figure out that I don't like him in that way. I could tell Jessica was jealous that he asked me, but I needed the fresh air. "Yeah, sure. Where are we camping?" I asked. "In the woods near the mountains," he said. I nodded.
After school, I went strait home because dad was getting off early because it's Friday. When I got home he was already there. "Hey Dad! I'm home!" I called through the house. "I'm in the living room!" he called back. I went in, and sat on the couch. "Can I go camping with my friends this weekend?" I asked. "I suppose. Just remember that you have school on Monday, so don't stay out all night on Sunday," he said. "I won't!" I said, and ran up stairs to pack. When I was finished I ate dinner, and went to bed.
